Guest：The staff was beyond wonderful. They took great care with every part of my stay. I highly recommend them and looking forward to staying with this property again. Bravo!
Guest：Marriott Gold member; got an upgrade to a king bedroom rather than queen but the room (ground floor building 1) smelled of damp and was dark with little to no natural light. Add to that, the rooms next door were under renovation works; why place a loyal customer in the middle of a building site? Workers were sleeping in the room next door and the floors were filthy. Finally, the water from the taps was brown. It just felt cheap and completely avoidable had anyone had any customer concerns in mind. Poor management. We got a change of room, but this could have been avoided. A very disappointing experience.
Guest：Visiting a protea in Nigeria used to be a pleasure but since its relationship with Marriot quality of certain aspects has declined although not yet to the level of the former Sheraton in Abuja. Rooms are OK and the beds up to usual Sheraton standard. Pool is nice and the location facing the ocean pleasant if you have a room with a view. Access to the hotel is via a road in pretty poor shape.. Gym is small with a couple of treadmills, a gym machine, couple of bikes and a manual elliptical trainer. For me the pleasure of a Protea was its fantastic breakfast buffet. Sad to report this is no longer available with a very poor selection, instant coffee only, no decent meats or cheese, no pastries . Overall very disappointing for N14,00 ($30).. Internet connectivity just about OK..
Guest：First of all, my room wasn’t available and we had to wait over 1 hour for the room and we finally got into the room it wasn’t what we reserved so we was moved to another room that was uncleaned in which we had to request that the room be cleaned. There was very little water to take a shower and the restaurant food we ordered was half cooked. I do not recommend this hotel.
