Guest：Stayed 4 nights + 1 night for worker. Manager was never happy with anything, left plenty of notice (48hrs) on plan change and he winged, at 6:15pm office was closed so called and asked for a plate to eat my takeaway on and got a big sign and groan, I told him not to worry. Room was never made up and parking is bad. No shampoo or conditioner. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and it’s reasonably close to a great pub, that’s no all this place has going for it. My company will not be staying here again.

Guest：Good budget hotel option. Priced at the lower end of the range, we went went with low expectations. It was a little dated but had everything we needed for our one night stay through Portland. Conveniently located a short walk to the heart of town.

Guest：The owner was lovely to deal with but my heart sunk as we walked in; my husband will never live this booking down. The family room was so outdated. As I inspected, my heart sunk more when I saw the shower curtain and the bed spreads. I stay in motels regularly for work and thought bed spreads were a thing of the past. We had to go and buy extra towels from Woolies because we like one per shower but also there was no where to hygienically dry 4 towels. The beds were so hard that we all had head aches and sore neck and shoulders. I suggested we go home early rather than spend a 2nd night but we decided to suck it up so as not to disappoint the kids by cancelling our plans for the full weekend but I desperately wanted to leave. The car parks are so tight like other reviews so I'm glad my husband was driving. The other issue we had all weekend was that sometimes the key would easily pop the door open and other times it was a no go and at one point had to get the owner to come and help get into our room. The mini bar fridge was full of mold in the seals - gross. It would actually be so easy to make some simple changes and turn this place around. A good start would be getting rid of those manky shower curtains and making the beds with sheets under and over the blanket and get rid of those old bed spreads.
