Guest：We loved this hotel. It looks fairly plain from the road but inside it was stylish and nicely finished as well as being surprisingly quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful and it was just what we wanted. It's only a couple of minutes walk from the beach and its bars and under 5 mins to the main high street with its excellent restaurants. Highly recommended

Guest：Stayed in Skala Hotel during our time in Kefalonia and absolutely loved it! In a great location and close to traditional-like streets full of restaurants and bars, it was amazing as a basis to explore the island! The rooms are clean fresh and comfortable with great views to the sea. Also really enjoyed the breakfast options and loved to have it on the balcony outside :) Great experience and amazing price!

Guest：THE REVIEWS LISTED HERE ARE NOT FOR THIS HOTEL!!! THIS HOTEL IS A 30-40 MINUTE WALK FROM THE VILLAGE OF SKALA WITH NO NEARBY BARS OR SHOPS. HOWEVER.... we had a lovely quiet few days here. Rooms are ok and the food was good but the selling point here is the stunning little cove and beach directly over the road and the gorgeous swimming pool. These aspects made the shirty staff and nothing to do at the hotel after 8pm bearable ??

Guest：Just back from a week at Hotel Skala with friends. Wouldn't normally go away late August/early September but we all needed a break after some recent stressful times and we had a great time. The hotel is excellent , as detailed by many reviews seen here. Comfortable, beautifully updated and modernised and very well equipped bedrooms. Ours was compact but had everything we needed and kept spotlessly clean. Great selection of fresh fruit, yogurt, cold meats and cheeses, cereals, croissants and pastries, (plus cooked to order eggs etc.) at breakfast and super friendly and helpful staff. The beautiful beach and excellent tavernas/restaurants/ bars/ shops etc all within a short stroll. Car hire opposite but we didn't bother on this occasion. Comfortable sunbeds and brollies 9 euros a day for 2 people at beach in front of Green Paradise restaurant. The last couple of days were rather mixed with some rain, thunder and lightning. The beach is a blue flag beach with Lifeguards on duty. Skala is a busy popular resort but never felt crowded or a rip off. Would definitely return.
