Guest：The “Alma Boutique Hotel” is unfortunately nothing like a boutique hotel. It’s a handful of rooms tucked away on the 4th floor of an old, crumbling building directly opposite the opera house. While the location is central and convenient, the heavy street noise day and night makes it difficult to relax or sleep. The entrance feels unsafe, with a door that’s often left open, leading into a dark, shabby hallway. The staircase has uneven and broken steps, and the small elevator looks and sounds unreliable — you never quite feel secure using it. None of this gives the impression of a hotel that meets even basic safety standards. Inside, the rooms are very large but strangely empty, cold, and without character. The cheap furniture and random décor make the space feel unfinished and far from the “boutique” experience advertised online. It feels more like an old apartment conversion than a hotel — sterile and impersonal. There’s also no breakfast, just a vague mention of a café down the street that doesn’t open until later in the morning. The staff are genuinely kind and do their best to help, but it doesn’t make up for the overall poor quality, lack of comfort, and unsafe feel of the building. For the same price, you can easily find a proper boutique hotel in Tbilisi with real design, atmosphere, and basic safety in place.
