Guest：We learned about Venissa while doing some research about the neighboring island of Burano. Although we did not have a wine tasting booked, Luca graciously escorted us to the wine bar where he explained the history of the vineyard, the differences in the two wines that are produced and offered us a tasting. It was a wonderful little excursion and waling through the vineyard and garden was very pleasant as well. I would recommend booking a lunch or dinner at their restaurant as well.

Guest：Venissa is beyond 5 star ... I keep returning to this place away from the over touristed Venice city centre . From the excellent service , the fabulous restaurants , the unique wine produced in the walled garden to the beach on the Lido just two Vaporetto stops away , Venissa has it all. Venissa and it's sister property Casa Burano are so special . If you are a family I would recommend Casa Burano as there is more space for family members to hang out , and the 5 minute walk over to Venissa over a footbridge and into the secret garden makes breakfast special . Enrico and all staff are so helpful and knowledgeable and they make Venissa the most fabulous place to visit .

Guest：We had a delightful lunch on a warm Sunday in their beautiful space. The tasting menu was delicious. A multi course of locally sourced ingredients from in and around the Venetian Lagoon. There was no meat and frankly not missed. Some really clever tricks of textures and fermentation made up for that. Highly recommended.

Guest：Great stay on the very peaceful island of Burano that is a short water bus ride from Venice. If you stay here, do yourself a favor and eat in the Osteria Restaurant and order the five course entree. It is a bit pricey but well worth it. They accommodated as vegetarians. They make their own wine from grapes grown on the property and the meal was complimented with 4 wine pairings that were very unique. We return there every year for a night or two
