Guest：The family Kessler has owned and operated this hotel for a century and we have been enjoying it for half of that time. Situated outside the village of Davos, it is linked by a frequently running free bus system and a train stop right outside the door. it also happens to be located at the bottom of an expert ski run but not serviced by lifts (for that take the public transport into town). The family members are always around and working and are incredibly warm and friendly...the staff friendly, efficient, hard-working. The rooms, if not luxurious, are comfortable. We had room 15 which is on the first floor south/west facing, with a balcony and enjoys the whole afternoon of sunshine. The restaurant offers a large terrace to enjoy the sunshine for lunch or charming indoor dining rooms. Breakfast was quite good, simple but sufficient. There is no toaster for the bread, which would be a nice addition. For lunch and dinner, while the food is quite average, the menu is large and offers a wide assortment of things to eat. In years past we remember the the food being better...perhaps they can up their service....We did have one vegetarian with us and the selection for her was poor however. We ate in most evenings after skiing all day to keep it simple. There is a salad bar which is quite nice. New this year is a marvelous wellness center on the top of the building featuring a modern outdoor jacuzzi (with amazing jets and views), indoor changing rooms, sauna and steam room...all of the finest quality and comfort and NO reason to go to another spa. We would stay here again and again for another 50 years (god-willing) since Family Kessler clearly love what they do and are GOOD at it.
Guest：The best meal of my trip was at the restaurant here. I didn't fancy carbohydrates that evening, so the waitress arranged for my venison to be served with the various vegetables that the kitchen was cooking that evening. Having had a late lunch, I wasn't sure how much appetite I would have, but I cleared the plate. The venison was cooked excellently - the knife slid through it and I really enjoyed all the vegetables - thank you! Served with an excellent Albarone. I was lucky enough to get an upgrade on my room from single to double, which was much appreciated. The staff at reception were very helpful with all my questions. The hotel is well placed for both bus and train.

Guest：Sehr freundlicher Empfang, man fühlt sich sofort wohl und willkommen. Die passenden Tips für Ausflüge und weiteres Wissenswertes erhalten. Sch?ne ger?umige Zimmer (Komfort), Bett bequem. Alles sehr gut gepflegt und auf Details wird geachtet. Das Hotel liegt gleich neben dem Bahnhof Wolfgang Davos. Das der Zug neben dem Hotel durchf?hrt hat seinen eigenen Charme und hat mich absolut nicht gest?rt. Die Mitarbeitenden sind alles sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Reichhaltiges Morgenessen, damit kann man gest?rkt in den Tag starten. Für ein Abend- oder Mittagessen ist das dazugeh?rende Restaurant absolut zu empfehlen.
