Lovely. I would come again! Fabulous hotel. Very clean and modern. Friendly staff. Everyone was friendly, from the restaurant staff, the front desk staff and the cleaners. Very lovely people. Daily housekeeping. I had new towels everyday of my stay. Nice breakfast buffet. It did not have the widest selection of food but still nice regardless. I loved my room. The bathroom was very modern and gorgeous. Although I did not request a balcony room, I still had a small balcony anyway which was nice. They do provide beach towels for you, but I never used them (I had my own). I can’t comment on the pool because I never used it, but the garden area is lovely and well maintained. Room service was not the best… I tried to order food to my room once and they did not have much food left. Anyway, it’s always better to eat out. Great location. It’s just a seven minute walk to the beach and bus station. Less than a fifteen minute walk to the old town and main seafront area. There was a great supermarket close to the hotel, which was good to pick up a few extra things for my stay. Overall, I loved my stay here. I would recommend and would come back! :D

I had an absolutely delightful experience at Akali hotel in Chania. I was welcomed with warm hospitality from the moment I arrived. The room was spotlessly clean, beautifully arranged. Every dish was a delight, showcasing both quality and flavor. A special mention goes to Maria at the reception. She is an absolute gem and awesome. Always smiling, cute, incredibly positive, and ready to assist at any moment. If you’re looking for comfort, exceptional service, and a relaxing environment in Chania, I highly recommend Akali hotel.

The hotel has 4 stars but I am giving it a full credit for many things which are listed below. As many people mentioned, rooms are not as great as on the website, however it's not a tragedy! Our double bed was huge with fresh bedding every day, the room was cleaned daily and new towels were left in the bathroom. We were not run out of anything as all stuff like shampoos, soaps, etc. were replaced by cleaners. The room had LCD TV with English channels, small fridge, AC, hair dryer and lots of different light settings (good if your "second half" wants to read a book before a sleep). The balcony was not huge and there was one table and two chairs. Staff of the hotel is mostly very young with keen to help others. There arranged a car rental for us with good price and they were always very helpful. Akali hotel has wifi connection from every room without any password. There are also 2 quite new PCs at the ground floor with a printer for guest usage - they are keep clear of any viruses and you can browse internet with Mozilla in Private Mode (nothing (passwords, history, cookies) will be stored at the computers). The pool is small (up to 1,5 m deep) but it's clean and tidy. Breakfasts were jolly good! We could choose from Original Cretan Food and Continental. The buffet was always full and there was at least one member of staff waiting with coffee jug to top up our cups. Location - it's not in the old town centre but it's about 10 minutes walk from there. Overall, the hotel deserves for 4 stars, however I am giving it a 5 stars because my experience was not as negative as other people's reviews. Very good value for money!

Posizione quasi centrale a chania, non molto paesaggistica ma funzionale. Parcheggio in strada ma facilmente trovabile. Si: comfort ed eleganza, colazione ricca, piscina, gentilezza personale. No: bagno piccolo, doccia senza una parete attaccato a lavandino che non è riparato dagli schizzi. Sapone mani vecchio stile poco ecosostenibile.

L’h?tel Akali est très bien situé pour pouvoir se déplacer sur l’?le (proche gare routière) mais aussi pour visiter le centre historique de Chania. Notre chambre était spacieuse, le seul bémol était le balcon donnant sur l’avenue la plus passante de la ville donc énormément de bruit. Cependant avec vue sur la piscine je pense que nous aurions besoin plus apprécié. Le personnel de l’h?tel était très sympathique.

My friend booked this hotel after reading the reviews and we were not disappointed. Lovely hotel, very clean and spacious. Staff friendly and always available to help. Situated 10 mins from main town where you could find an abundance of superb restaurants, bars and shops. Less than 10 mins walk to quieter beach area which also had a few places to eat and drink. Overall, a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

Very good hotel in a good location, 10 minutes walk from the center. Very kind staff, especially Nicolas on reception and Rula on cleaning. Good breakfast. I didn't like that you could only choose one hot drink other than American coffee. This thing needs to be improved.

We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chania. We stayed in 2 rooms for our family of 5. The staff is absolutely fantastic. They were super helpful in many ways… restaurant recommendations, making us a car rental booking, helping me navigate a few running routes. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel offers a fantastic gym, a pool and a great breakfast buffet. The hotel is 10 min away from old town and 5 min away from the beach. I would definitely return to this hotel again Only problem was that one of the 3 rooms we booked did not have a shower head. It had a bathtub but no shower head! (Room 304).
