A fabulous, friendly resort. I felt welcome & comfortable as a returning solo traveller. My stay was only a week but it was the perfect place to relax on the beautiful beach and recharge. Best of all, you can always get a sun lounger and there is the option of plenty of shade. For snorkelers, there is lots of marine life just off the beach and I even met a sea turtle! The food is consistently lovely. I was also fortunate enough to be invited to the resort’s 35th birthday celebration. It was a wonderful event, celebrating the service of employees who have supported guests for the whole 35 years. The entertainment, the food & the company was outstanding.

We spent 10 wonderful days here and loved every minute of it! We had a wonderful suite which was a nice treat. The staff were all amazing. The food was great too.

We stayed here several times between 2003 and 2010, so 15 years since our last stay. It was just as we remembered. Beautiful view from reception as you first walked in and very friendly staff. We had a delux plus room which was ground floor and sea view (as requested with the help of Dini Naik, guest experience manager). The room was spacious enough with super king size bed and safa and chair with footstool. The bathroom had walk in shower with decent sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. (we had requested non slip mat which was supplied) free-standing bath and separate loo. Two basins and plenty of room for toiletries etc. bathrobes and plenty of towels. Next to this a walk in wardrobe and safe. Terrace had a small sofa and two chairs and a table. Mini bar and water supplied daily. Tea and coffee facilities. Another lovely touch was a small jar of mini cakes delivered each day to have with coffee or pre dinner drinks. We mostly sat around the pool which wasn’t too busy and we could always find somewhere to sit. This is by the quarterdeck bar and we had good service with a special mention to Yovan a lovely young man, so polite and regularly checking we were ok. Actually it was annoying keeping track of the so called All Inclusive. It wasn’t really up to scratch as some things on the drinks were not included unless you had ultra AI which presumably was even more expensive but we weren’t originally offered that. The Belle View restaurant with buffet was excellent and an improvement since we were last there is that it has been enclosed by glass and automatic doors thus keeping the birds off the food. We were greeted warmly by Vimla who we remembered when we last there.We also went one evening to the La Maree which was lovely. We visited the tortoises and heard the frog chorus which we remembered well. Not much going on with entertainment, quite low key music with performers singing or playing guitar or keyboard but quite nice for background music. We did have one issue at the La Maree where we had been invited for an evening drink to meet people. We sat at a table and were told we shouldn’t sit there as ‘it’s part of the restaurant’. They pointed to us to sit on beanbags. Being nearly 80 that didn’t appeal so we picked up our drinks and went back to our terrace and never went back there. Having said that, the other staff were all so polite and thoughtful greeting us whenever they saw us. We also enjoyed watching some lovely weddings whilst there. The Indian weddings are so colourful and musical it is a joy to watch. We hope we will be able to go back soon, it’s a bit like going home!

We stayed beginning of November and the hotel was amazing! Beautiful scenery, quiet location, brilliant staff, and lovely food! We stayed for our honeymoon and got given a gorgeous room with access to the garden. There’s plenty of a la carte restaurants to try each week, plus the buffet is amazing and changes every day so plenty of variety. We found the food very good. The drinks are also lovely with a wide range of cocktails to choose from. The hotel was clean and very nice, and all the watersports were so fun! And great that they are included! We paddle boarded, kayaked, snorkelled etc But one of the best things of the whole hotel is the staff! Every single person was so kind and welcoming and the service was exceptional! We didn’t even have to ask for drinks and we got to know so many wonderful people who treated us so well! Special shout out to Akhilesh who looked after us most nights and went so above and beyond, we adored him and he was brilliant!!! Thank you so much Also a few more to mention- Adriano!! Marin, OM, and Dylan. So many more people we didn’t get the name of too, but my gosh the service was incredible! Thank you all so much for making it so memorable The pools are lovely, and some nice entertainment although very chilled. The beach candlight concert was gorgeous!! We loved it! The gold buggies to get around the resort were great too and so much to do on the resort, animals, spa, mini golf etc. We have two massages which were excellent. Can’t fault a thing, absolutely recommend especially for a quiet, couples stay! ??

I booked a private culinary experience with the head chef today and it was an experience I’ll never forget . It was amazing meeting such a talented chef who has such a passion for his job and a great knowledge about all foods and ideas of different things to make . We also met some of his staff team which were very friendly and attentive.

This was our second visit to this outstanding hotel having visited ten years ago. We would have booked last year for our 40th anniversary but due to a medical problem had to cancel. Special thanks to Kavita who although our Anniversary was three weeks prior to our visit gave us a beautiful room and special treatment. The staff in this hotel treated us like royalty from our arrival . THE ROOM… Our room 210 was absolutely superb, beautifully furnished and oh so comfortable, it was equipped with everything you could possibly need . The bed was enormous and comfy and I would have liked to have taken it home ! Oh my goodness.. The FOOD.. this was incredible, the best we have ever had in a hotel, beautifully cooked, hot and so tasty with an amazing selection every day, We also ate at the La Maree beach restaurant which again was faultless. THE STAFF… As well as Kavita, a special thank you to the lovely Vimala and Ashi in the Belle Vue restaurant who looked after us so well, Nikhal in the La Maree bar and Yoven in the Quarter deck bar. Not forgetting to mention the great entertainment staff. The staff everywhere are all truly wonderful. I don’t know how this hotel can be improved as it is excellent, thank you so much, hopefully we will return as soon as possible

Expérience parfaite au sein du Spa Maritim. Nous avons opté pour un gommage ainsi qu’un massage d’une heure. Tout était parfait de A à Z : la spacieuse cabine donnant sur la nature luxuriante, l’accès à une douche en extérieure à la suite du gommage, et un thé glacé somptueux. Mais surtout, le plus important : le massage d’Amiella était parfait, le meilleur que j’ai jamais re?u. Encore merci.
