Das Zimmer und das Hotel insgesamt ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und müsste renoviert werden. Das Personal war aber sehr freundlich und das Frühstück war super.
Die Lage ist zentral und sehr gut. Parken war in der Tiefgarage gegen eine Gebühr in H?he von 24,-€ m?glich.
Very nice staff. Grocery store directly beside hotel. Bus stop close. Marienplatz is 20 min walk. Christmas markets nice with great food and handmade ornaments. I’ve stayed at this property 4 times. Great location that’s quiet and safe. Nice size rooms. Hotel breakfast is good, buffet style with too many items to list.
The property wasn't easy to evaluate from outside, but once we entered into the room, we were highly impressed. Spacious accommodation - 2 floors with very clean and quality fit and finish furniture, floor, walls, kitchen, bathroom, beds, and other items. There are 2 beds with a full bath upstairs and 1 bed and a half bath downstairs. The bathroom was extremely clean with pretty nice quality of materials used in it. The kitchen has some utensils, cups & plates, silverware, etc. if anybody wishes to cook/warm up food. It has a small refrigerator and a microwave. Most importantly the kitchen is also equipped with an electric water heater and an espresso machine with 4 pods! I believe there is a mini mart/small grocery store very close by, but due to our odd times for checking in and out, we couldn't tell how the store is. We walked and caught a city bus to go the city center (downtown) to walk around (after 8 pm on December 26th) and had an amazing dinner at an excellent German restaurant (Google recommendation). We took a walk next morning by the river after checking out toward city center again. Eventually took a bus and spent some time and had quick breakfast before taking the train to the Munich airport to return to California. You can purchase a day family pass for 25 Euros that works for train and bus. We did mess up spending more for a worse deal on the night of our arrival (45 Euros).
By the way, the day rate for the hotel was very reasonable compared to other places.
Eigentlich ein tolles Hotel in sehr guter Lage. Vor 15 Jahren war es auch mal auf einem 4 Sterne Niveau. Aber ich verstehe nicht, wie man die Zimmer in einem derartig runtergekommenen Zustand belassen kann. DERAG ist eigentlich eine gute Marke, aber dieses Haus entspricht dem Anspruch nicht mehr. Die Zimmer müssten komplett renoviert werden. Es werden auch Kleinigkeiten wie nicht fixierbare Duschk?pfe ignoriert, was die Erfahrung weiter trübt.
Room did not have enough lights, buttons either did nothing or didn't work. Staff seemed uniformed of the issues and how to fix them. Definitely wouldn't recommend for the price I paid.
Room was outdated, it was nice that it had a fridge, microwave and stove along with utensils, plates and pots if needed. There is a small grocery store next door which made it convenient.
Room was very clean. Staff was friendly enough at reception and cleaners were extremely friendly.
No daily cleaning as advertised, only weekly.
Property is not soundproof as advertised, room was very noisy.
