A very nice affordable hotel with friendly service, perfect for a short stay / weekend break. Although the decor is a bit 1970s (which has its charm) and it's a bit worn out, the room was warm, clean, quiet and big, with plenty of storage, a TV, hairdryer, kettle and tea/coffee sachets. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Very convenient location close to Canterbury centre. For about £50 per night per person, amazing value.
Vegan breakfast available as well
We enjoyed our stay and the location was great! A short walk to the city center, thought not as well-lit at night which is worth considering. Overall, would stay again.
The hotel is so nice with a lovely staff. We even have had a little Christmas gift at our door with a Christmas card. It is a really nice gesture!
As it is an old.building, the walls are thin and we could hear people from ofher rooms so if you are light sleeper bring earplugs with you (I always do that).
The room has electric heater and heated the room is warm, which for me is important as I am skinny and always cold. So I could enjoy the space without being cold.
We had a.great stay, would have been nice to stay for more nights.
