Room was next to the kitchen therefore we had to suffer through some interminable whirring noise coming from the kitchen fan. Air conditioning was broken and the staff seemed willing to help but no solution could be provided on night number one and we unfortunately couldn't open the window due to the racket from the kitchen. They provided a fan for night number two which was cooling. We finally got a room change on night number three and the difference was noticeable, we even noticed the shower was better! It wasn't quite worth the money spent, I must admit but, staff were polite.

Die Unterkunft bietet einen wundersch?nen Stadt- und Meerblick. Der Garten des Hotels ist ebenso sehr einzigartig und liebevoll mit Rückzugsm?glichkeiten gestaltet. Das Frühstück ist fantastisch. Das Restaurant bietet ebenso k?stliche Speisen. Das Servicepersonal ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Parkpl?tze sind ebenso genügend vorhanden. Kommen definitiv wieder.

Lovely hotel with great views. Friendly and efficient staff. Excellent breakfast. Dinner was just ok. Fancy looking but not great. There are far better dining options with much better quality food at lower prices in town. You must have a car or use taxi/uber as there are no paved areas on the roads surrounding the hotel and walking is perilous.

Das Hotel ist ein gute Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung Funchals. Mit seiner Lage auf einem Hügel bietet es einen hervorragenden Blick auf die Stadt und das Meer. Das überragende Frühstück kann auf der Terrasse mit Meerblick genossen werden.
