Guest：My husband and I chose to stay at the Barracks for 3 nights as our son's wedding was being celebrated at the reception centre on the grounds. The breakfast was substantial and more than enough. The bed was very comfortable. We spent two early mornings sitting on the verandah enjoying a cuppa watching the birdlife. Paterson is only a short drive away. If you have mobility issues then maybe this is not the place for you as the bedroom is upstairs. The staff are so friendly and answered any questions regarding the history, animals and local area. The homestead is open on Sundays and is free to guests of the Barracks. Well worth a visit.: 2025-03-01

Guest：Quiet and peaceful, historical buildings within a working farm. Very generous breakfast hamper. So much more enjoyable than a generic hotel! Staircase to the bedrooms steep so May not suit those with limited mobility.: 2025-05-01
