What a gem of a hotel! Booked this hotel last minute as the one we had originally booked suddenly stopped their half board option. So glad we did. Small, quiet, beautifully decorated and furnished. Rooms large, bed enormous and comfortable, large balcony, all furnished tastefully. Staff are so friendly and helpful, always smiling and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was amazing, so much choice. Evening meals were very good, limited choice of 2 starters and 2 mains - always a fish or meat option, nicely presented and cooked. Wouldn't do to be vegetarian though. Fabulous pool, and the gardens were very tastefully done. There's a garage a 5 minute walk away for snacks and bottled water. 30 minute walk along a lovely promenade takes you into Aricife. There is no night life near the hotel so it wouldn't suit anyone wanting clubs or bars. The only fault we could find was they advise you not to drink the tap water and only provide small bottles of water which you have to pay for. For a 5 star hotel it wouldn't hurt to put a large bottle of water in your room every day. Apart from the garage there are no local shops. Thank you to everyone at Villa Vik for looking after us so well. And they have resident cats!

The hotel was very under staffed. There appeared to be only 1 member of staff available. That member of staff would be covering the reception, the bar area and the dining area. Found it almost impossible to get any service when needed. On our first night we discovered that there weren’t any sheets on the bed. We tried phoning reception at least 5 times without any answer. I ended up going down to reception and ringing the bell. Nobody answered. Eventually the staff member who was serving dinner came. I explained the situation and the staff member then disappeared to reappear with a couple of sheets for us to fit ourselves. Our room was ok and we had a large terrace with hot tub. Unfortunately the hot tub wasn’t working properly. We didn’t have an evening meal at the hotel but it appeared to be fully booked most evenings. There is a sign in the room advising you not to drink the tap water. However, no bottled water was provided. There was now tea/coffee making facility in the room and due to the under staffing it wasn’t possible to get any room service because the phone was never answered.

Rustig en goed gelegen hotel, heeft zeker charme en vele pittoreske toetsen, echter hadden we er afgaande op de reviews en foto’s veel meer van verwacht, ook op culinair vlak. Het personeel was vriendelijk maar leek wat uitgeblust gejaagd (resto-bar ) wat enigszins te begrijpen is als je aan dit tempo moet werken omdat je er alleen voorstaat. Het ontbijt had weinig variatie; we misten verse fruitsoorten en een vers homp bruin brood ipv dagelijks toasts en voorgebakken broodjes, koeken,.. Voor een 5 sterren hotel mag dit zeker. De kamers waren erg ruim en heel netjes, housekeeping hield ook discreet rekening met je in/outs. Dit hotel heeft zoveel potentieel, vergane glorie heeft enkel een nieuwe frisse wind nodig.

A superb little gem tucked away near the beach. Food cooked to order and of the highest quality. Staff were attentive and friendly making our stay a real delight. The only request that I would make its that a seasonal vegetable was added to the main course dish to add colour and a different taste.

Charmant kleinschalig boutique hotel met uitstekende service en ook zeer goed eten. Wij hadden halfpension geboekt. ook fantastisch bevallen . Ze vinden het wel fijn als na het ontbijt aangeeft of je in avond dineert. Vonden de bedden te hard , maar kregen meteen toppers erop. Aanrader !!

Vorweg: Es war nicht einfach zu finden. Aber dann sieht man ein sehr hübsches, stilvolles, kleines Hotel. Wir erlebten sehr freundliches Personal. Wir hatten ein ger?umiges Zimmer mit Balkon ( es gibt aber auch andere). Es gibt eine gestaltete Gartenlandschaft rund um den Pool mit Formen der runden Weinbaum?uerchen, wo man sich zurückziehen kann, wenn man‘s braucht. Auch ein Whirlpool ist vorhanden. Das hauseigene Restaurant hat uns nicht so behagt. Wir machten lieber einen Abendspaziergang zur Playa Honda.

Wij hadden onze huwelijksreis in hotel Vila VIK. En hebben er volop van genoten !! Knappe setting vriendelijk personeel. Rustig en dicht bij een boulevard aan het water met vele bankjes en en magnifiek uitzicht. Bijna zo goed als het ontbijt. Want dat was perfect !! Engels ontbijt, pannenkoekjes of wafels met fruit alles te verkrijgen.. Mmmm top !!
