If you want traditional then this place is it, six nights over Christmas and it was awesome. Great base for cycling and the food is amazing. It's quirky, old and authentic.. biggest hotel room door key I have ever had.
Hotel con 8 habitaciones situado en el pueblo de San Miguel de Abona. Sorprendente la calidad del restaurante, excelentes platos cocinados por la due?a. Probablemente uno de los mejores restaurantes en Tenerife, pocas pretensiones y mucha calidad .Buenos precios. Las instalaciones limpias y muy bien cuidadas. El paraje no ofrece mucha diversión, pero es un lugar ideal para descansar o para empezar excursiones a Vilaflor, al Teide o los pueblos turísticos de la zona sur de la isla. Los propietarios , Chari y Agustín , son muy cordiales y simpáticos. Experiencia muy agradable. Es aconsejable , en la cena, probar los montaditos de morcilla! El servicio , excelente!
Charming Rustic Hotel
Charming, simple, small rustic hotel with restaurant in hills about 20 minutes from TFS airport. So different from concrete and commercialism of the coast. If you want a pool you’ll be disappointed; if you want to chill you won’t. Also, no pizza/burgers/fish ‘n’ chips on the menu! Just make sure to ask for a room not overlooking the road.
Senor Augustin and his wife welcomed us a quiet characterful casa rural. Nothing was too much trouble. It has WiFi but I would recommend that is perfect for a digital detox. The restaurant is a match for a 5star hotel . The food is exquisite. Breakfast is a generous continental style buffet. We cannot recommend this place highly enough.
It is not what you might expect of a typical hotel. But this a historic building run by locals with a big heart . Rooms are cosy and authentic, great local food and far far away from tourist hotels. Nice patio where you can relax and have drink or a bite.
This hotel has so much character! I wish I could have stayed more than 1 night. The staff/owners go above and beyond and are so friendly. Their restaurant attached is also very good.
Un lugar tranquilo y entorno agradable. Eche en falta que el agua de la ducha estuviera caliente, por la ma?ana solo llegó a tibia y la temperatura del agua por la tarde/noche no llegaba a tibia. La luces de la mesilla de noche no permiten leer por escasez de luz.
Not suitable for mobility issues
If you have mobility problems do not use this hotel.when I booked I specified a ground floor room. However there are no ground floor rooms.you either walk across a very rough courtyard and climb the stairs or walk around the building up a steep hill and use a side entrance on the first floor there is no way you could use this hotel if you are in a wheelchair.l did speak to the manager about shortening our stay and obtain a refund for the last week but that was a flat NO. However we were so unhappy that we left after the first week and found another hotel.
