Das Haus bietet wirklich ein komplettes Paket: tolle Lage, sehr sch?ne, bequeme und perfekt ausgestattete Zimmer, eine tolle Küche (besonders erw?hnenswert ist das Frühstück!) und ausgesprochen kompetentes, freundliches Personal.

Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Tolle Lage, alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Stilvoll eingerichtet, man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Toller Wellness Bereich und erstklassiges Frühstück.

Ein tolles Hotel mit gutem Wellness Bereich. Speisen im Restaurant hochpreisig. Leider wird inzwischen total überzogen. Habe eine Flasche Mineralwasser bestellt und Leitungswasser erhalten, selbstverst?ndlich zum abgeschmackten Preis. H?hepunkt ist aber, dass ungefragt Brot an den Tisch gebracht wird und dann 3.30€ auf der Rechnung berechnet werden. Trotz 3 facher Reklamation keine L?sung angeboten bekommen. Management kann kein Umgang mit G?sten handeln

Haben zu zweit mit Hund 2 traumhaft erholsame Tage auf der Burg verbracht. Wundersch?nes Ambiente (ganze Hotel, Zimmer, Spa), hervorragendes Essen. Zuvorkommendes, herzliches und hundefreundliches Personal. Spürbar gute Arbeitsatmosph?re bei Allen - das funktioniert nur bei entsprechend guter Führung, grosses Lob an Alle! Kann Auszeit auf der Burg nur empfehlen.

a disappointing stay I would have liked to give a 5 star rating. The hotel is beautiful and the staff very nice. I booked this for my parents' wedding anniversary. I even called and emailed (from the US) to make sure that they had flowers in their room and that I was billed for them. I was billed for them but so were my parents. It took another phone call from my dad after he came home and talked to me to straighten it out. When they were at the hotel nobody could tell them where the flowers were coming from and he was presented with a bill. The other mishap was that the hotel room was freezing when they arrived. It took the staff several hours to correct it. My mother was packing to go home when the room finally got warm. As I said the room was beautiful but my parents were unable to turn off the bright bathroom light overnight. They asked staff and they told them that is impossible to turn off the light (Bathroom had a glass door!). I wanted them to have a special experience for their 50th wedding anniversary, especially since my mother had always talked about staying in your hotel, but I have to conclude that it was very disappointing. They did get reimbursed for the flowers in the end.

Very good restaurant (“Burgrestaurant Oifach Andersch), extremely disappointing room (“apartment”). We stayed with our 2 young children (2 and 4 years old) in the apartment, and hoped with our €305 rate to have the promised luxury stay. It was unfortunately disappointing. Cons: - Outdated room, next to storage area and parking - No airconditioning - No blackout curtains - No fly screens, resulting in mosquito bites, waking up multiple times and killing 10+ mosquitos during the night - No possibility to lock hotel room door from inside - No door between entrance area / kitchenette and sleeping area - No turn down service or an “extra” like a water bottle - No toiletries, except almost empty “hair & body wash” press - Offered aperitif upon arrival turned out to be on own expense when used later (€20) - Not very clean (hairs in shower and garbage in bin, clearly of previous guest) Pros: - Views and setting - Free parking - Beds made for children upon request - Swimming pool, although not as warm (much less than 27 degrees) as stated - Very pleasant restaurant, with good service and food, both for dinner and breakfast In short, worth to dine, not to stay. We had great expectations and hoped to make this our yearly stay whilst travelling south for our summer holidays, but we will not be back.

Burg Staufeneck is a very pleasant hotel, located not far from Stuttgart. The hotel's area in nature is very calming and beautiful. The room was well equipped and spacious. The highlight of the stay was the breakfast. The quality of the ingredients, freshness of the fruits and vegetables, as well as the quality of the home made breads and pastries are unparalleled. Simply the best hotel breakfast I ever had in the thousands of nights I spent in hotels worldwide Highly recommended for a calm stay in nature
