Gateshead was in contact regularly to see if I was OK and very kindly brought my suitcase to the hospital. Guest：We enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was conveniently located, close to the town centre. Our room was very clean and quiet and the bed comfortable. As we were located on the top floor we got to see a fireworks display that happened to be on (an added bonus). Service was friendly and good and we had everything we needed. Guest：This hotel is located very close to central Torquay, just a couple of minutes walk. The approach to the entrance is up some quite steep steps, with palm trees. The proprietor met us and gave us keys to our room and both outer doors if we needed to be out late. He took our bag up to our room, which was very kind. We had a room at the front of the hotel, so we could see the sea over the buildings opposite which was good. The room was a good size, spotlessly clean and traditionally decorated with fantastic curtains! Again when we checked out, the proprietor helped with our luggage. It is a quiet hotel, although on a busy road, and good value for money too.
