Such a beautiful setting among the Lily Ponds and grounds. We were welcomed and shown around and we were delighted by our room. The bed was really comfy and the bathroom was massive. The bath robes were lovely and fluffy too. It was quite chilly when we visited (beginning of October) and did feel the chill of the polished concrete floors (It would have been nice to have some slippers) We ate one evening meal and it was really lovely and tasty and beautifully served. The breakfast was served in a covered terrace and was everything you could imagine. The staff/owners were very attentive and had lots of recommendations of places to see and visit during our stay. Would highly recommend and stay here you won’t be disappointed I promise

Ein wundervoller Ort, egal wo man hinschaut, alles ist bis ins kleinste Detail sch?n und alle Materialien harmonieren! Wir haben uns hier jede Minute so wohl gefühlt! Das Restaurant haben wir nicht genutzt, aber es sah sehr gemütlich und sch?n aus! Danke für 2 wundervolle Tage!

We were warmly welcomed by Deon, who gave us a tour of the beautiful property. We had the pleasure of staying in the Superior Suite – spacious, spotless, and equipped with every comfort. There was even a bathtub and a music system where we enjoyed listening to African hits. In the main building, you can relax with drinks and enjoy dinner, expertly prepared by Randall. The food was top-notch, with a menu that changes daily. Breakfast was lovingly prepared by Carol and the morning team, who welcomed us with the same warmth. It was delicious and very generous – if they have the cheese platter available, definitely order it, it’s a real treat. The team also gave us great tips for excursions in the area. We will definitely be back!

We were the onlu guests and even then the dinner was verry goed. The people were als very frendly. The room has a very nice view on the lake.

The Lily Pond Country Lodge is located in an area with plenty of activities to do. The lodge itself is very well maintained and offers a beautiful view on their own Lily Pond. The entire staff screams hospitality. They are very thoughtful and try to help you with just about anything you require/ want help with. Last and foremost, the lodge offers diners aswell and their chef is explicable. The food is of very high quality and the food will be brought to you by the chef itself (with his beautiful smile). Unfortunately, the chef couldn't accompany us for the rest of our trip (his cooking skills were duely missed) We spent a month traveling through South Africa and this was our favorite place to visit. We would very much recommend this lodge to anyone.

Wat een juweeltje is deze locatie, je komt helemaal tot rust in de schitterende omgeving, en toch in de buurt van Plettenberg Bay, Nature's Valley en Tsitsikama NP. Het ontzettend vriendelijke, gastvrije team legt je volledig in de watten. Wij hadden een zeer vroege ochtend excursie, maar zij zorgden de avond vooraf al voor een heerlijk ontbijt wat meegenomen kon worden. Het diner ter plaatse is geweldig, echt heerlijk gegeten. Daarnaast verloopt de communicatie voorafgaand en tijdens het verblijf top. Wil je jezelf een mooi en fijn verblijf gunnen, bezoek dan zeker de Lilypond Lodge!!

Charming and peaceful stay Lily Pond Country Lodge is a real gem. Beautiful setting among lily ponds and forest – perfect for relaxing. Very friendly welcome, we felt at home right away. Spacious rooms, delicious food, and everything well taken care of. Also ideally located: close to Nature’s Valley, Tsitsikamma, and just a short drive from Plettenberg Bay. Highly recommended if you enjoy peace, nature, and a warm atmosphere.

We had a really enjoyable stay. The staff and food were fabulous. Our daughter is gluten free and the hotel went above and beyond to make sure that our daughter was able to enjoy the delicious food. We also left an item of jewellery that they promptly sent back to the UK.

Das Abendessen kann man optional buchen, wird zu einer festgelegten Zeit für alle G?ste frisch vom zubereitet (19:00h), davor auf Wunsch gemütlicher Aperitif, zum Austausch der Reiseerlebnisse. Das 3g?ngige Menü mit Auswahl ist gro?artig. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und herzlich Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen

Wundersch?ne Location inmitten von Natur. Herrliche Küche und sehr sehr nettes Personal. Wir waren vier N?chte da und haben zwei Mal Abendessen gehabt. Das vier G?nge Menü war immer sch?n angerichtet, aus besten frischen Zutaten gekocht und von einigen der G?nge gab es auch eine Auswahl. Sehr gut hat mir auch gefallen, dass wie unser Menü via WhatsApp ganz pragmatisch an die Unterkunft mitteilen konnten. Einmal hat uns Claire sogar daran erinnert, weil wir es nicht gleich beim Frühstück festgelegt hatten. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, die on demand zubereiteten Eiergerichte waren mega lecker und sch?n angerichtet. Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt.
