The hotel was very responsive to emails and queries before my stay. It’s off the beaten track, which was exactly what I wanted for a more authentic, less touristy experience. Getting there takes some time — a short flight to Trat (or a 4-plus-hour drive), followed by a 45-minute transfer from Trat Airport to the pier, an hour-long boat crossing, and then a further 30-minute drive to the resort, with drop-offs along the way. The island itself is peaceful, with only a few small hotels and roadside restaurants — perfect for unwinding. The resort sits on a narrow beachfront plot in a small bay, with three villas just metres from the sand and sea. My room was large and airy, with windows on three sides, blackout and net curtains, an armchair, and a daybed inside. Outside were two loungers, two chairs, a table, and a useful awning for shade. The bed was wonderfully comfortable with two reading lights, though there were no power sockets nearby. The TV was internet-based and didn’t turn on during my stay. The air-conditioning worked very effectively in combination with a ceiling fan, and the small fridge was silent. There was a large sink area, a separate toilet with a wobbly seat, and a nice shower with a bench and clothes-drying area. Both the toilet and shower had slatted windows with mosquito nets, so they were warmer than the bedroom. Power sockets were limited — one near the vanity unit and another by the sink. Despite using repellent and keeping covered, I was still bitten quite a lot — the mosquitoes seemed able to bite through light clothing. Breakfast was extensive, with Thai and Western options, yogurt, croissants, bread, toast, and an egg station, plus a slow coffee machine using fresh milk — a welcome change from the UHT milk I’d had elsewhere, though coffee cups were tiny. The restaurant food overall was tasty with a wide selection. Staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and obliging. There was some light construction work on the first floor of the restaurant building — not constant, but occasionally distracting. The Wi-Fi was generally good, with only brief interruptions. Overall, a beautiful and peaceful resort with warm, attentive staff — ideal for relaxing and disconnecting from the world for a few days. The sea was calm & shallow & sandy underfoot with no rocks, sea **** or sea urchins.
Leider ist die Beschreibung Beach Natural irreführend. Hier gibt es keinen richtigen Strand. Nur einen Meerzugang zwischen Felsen. Die Unterkunft ist in die Jahre gekommen und einiges müsste renoviert werden. Frühstück ist soweit ok, für Vegetarier bedingt. Das Restaurant ist qualitativ nur ok, preislich zu teuer. Ausserhalb wesentlich bessere Optionen. Die zu leihenden Scooter sind alt. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
Плюсы: красивая территория, отличная работа команды отеля, хороший ресторан в отеле.
Минусы: Отель недешевый и при этом номера крайне старые. Ладно мебель -это можно объяснить стилем, но рваные коврики, техника 10-летней давности, старая сантехника.
Своего пляжа нет, на территории стоят лежаки, до Банг Пао пробираться по камням. При соотношении цена-качество не рекомендую
Transfert en bétaillère depuis le port très moyen. Bel implantation mais plage très petite et nombre de transats limités. Avec toujours les habituels égo?stes qui ??réservent?? leur place dès le matin et la bloquent pour la journée même s’ils n’en profitent pas ! Bonne restauration, bons pdj, staff très sympa. Merci aux petites mains dans l’ombre (omelette, cuisine, …) particulièrement gentilles et serviable même sans conna?tre l anglais. Hill pool villa a rafra?chir (lattes de piscine cassées, meubles ab?més, …) Donc des efforts à faire ou un prix à baisser significativement.
Bewertung unserer 5-t?gigen Erfahrung in der Beach Villa Wir haben fünf Tage in der Beach Villa verbracht und hatten insgesamt eine sch?ne Zeit. Die Beach Villa selbst ist toll – modern und gut ausgestattet. Der Strand ist zwar etwas klein, aber dennoch in Ordnung. Besonders sch?n war das klare Wasser, und der hoteleigene Steg bietet eine praktische M?glichkeit, direkt mit dem Boot anzureisen. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, aber nichts Besonderes. Die Insel ist insgesamt sehr ruhig, was für Erholungssuchende perfekt ist. Allerdings gibt es abends kaum Unterhaltungsm?glichkeiten, sodass es etwas eint?nig werden kann. Ein gro?es Lob geht an Pim von der Rezeption – sie war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Trotz einiger Schwierigkeiten war auch der Manager Tiger sehr nett. Allerdings neigt er dazu, in unpassenden Momenten zu lachen, was gerade bei Problemen etwas unangebracht ist. Er meint es aber nicht b?se, und wenn man darüber hinwegsehen kann, ist es kein gro?es Problem. Ein tierische Highlight waren die zwei super sü?en Katzen, die auf der Anlage leben. Sie sind sehr zutraulich, und man würde sie am liebsten adoptieren, damit sie ein liebevolles Zuhause bekommen. Falls wir wiederkommen würden, dann definitiv nur in der Beach Villa. Die anderen Unterkünfte auf der Anlage sind aus unserer Sicht weniger attraktiv.
