Easy to find and a good location as it’s near not far from M40 or to Bicester Village and train station ( the latter being an approx 10 minute drive).
The staff were nice and the room was spacious and clean.
The bathroom was nice although the shower heads shot out water in random directions which was a bit annoying. Bit of descaling would sort that out easily.
There was plenty of parking and the accommodation was across a courtyard from the pub.i would imagine a nice spot in the summer.
Food was good and the pub had a friendly welcoming atmosphere.
I would definitely stay here again and thank you for a good stay.
Been several times to this wonderful pub, but this year we ate the most amazing food! The stafff are very friendly and the atmosphere was fabulous. We would definitely recommend The Lion
Welcoming staff, food excellent standard and quality. Rooms were spacious & very well appointed. The only downside was the sofa bed was very uncomfortable.

Easy parking, check in ok, room was nice shower was very good, restaurant menu was good, breakfast good if little expensive, drinks choice was very good, room service was poor, room not serviced as requested, nice stay overall , staff were friendly and helpful.
What is great:
1) good location near Bicester Village (5 mins drive) 2) super quiet and with good sound insulation 3) good food as well 4) v good wifi 5) friendly and helpful staff
What is not so great:
1) no daily cleaning 2) room a bit cramped 3) service for food can be slow particularly on weekends when they are busy
Clean comfortable room, super king bed, good shower. No opening windows so patio door needs to be open with a restriction.
Sunday roast was very good, a bit slow but 20 odd people showed up late & unexpected for a meal. Refurbished and modernised to a high standard.

Lovely venue & great staff.
We were travelling through so needed good food and a comfortable bed.
Food was alright, but my steak was tough I didn't finish it.
Lovely staff, food needs a few tweaks. No fresh fruit or yoghurt at breakfast.
The town of Wendlebury is not the nicest place, but the room was comfortable.
Service for dinner and upon checkin was a bit hit and miss to be honest. We couldn't get water with dinner. Had to wait forever to order.
But the morning staff was nice and breakfast was okay.
