Guest：Linda made us feel completely at home from the moment we got there. Very helpful and accommodating. Had a few very interesting and informative chats. Came away feeling we'd known her for years. (All of which does not mean conversations are in any way forced upon you.) Spacious rooms with your own outside seating arrangement. Lovely pool. Breakfast left no wishes open.

Guest：Milkwood lodge is a lovely place to stay just outside of the centre of Hermanus. From the moment we arrived Linda was welcoming and friendly. We arrived at the same time as some issues in the town with taxi strikes and Linda tried really hard to find us somewhere to go for dinner, ringing round restaurants for us as most seemed to be closed on our first night! She booked a table for us on our second night there and thankfully we did find somewhere to go for our first night. The cottage we stayed in was very spacious and comfortable, with a lovely big bed in the main bedroom and even our own outside space. The main room had underfloor heating which was really welcome as the weather had turned a bit chilly. The shower in the bathroom was amazing, really good pressure and warm water - it was difficult to get out! There was a pool available but we didn't use it as it was just too cold. Breakfast was included and there was plenty of choice, from cereals and toast and pastry and they made some cooked items that we wanted. The location of the lodge is on the main road in and our of Hermanus and a short drive into the centre of town. I'd definitely recommend staying here.
