A very pleasurable 2nd stay here ove Mr December. Beautiful garden and warm pool. Breakfast every morning, with an amazing hostess Lynda. She helped us get a Xmas lunch booking in Hermanus. The rooms are comfy, and spacious. Tea and coffee, biscuits, water available in your room daily.
Host Linda welcomed us to this beautiful guesthouse. Our room was clean and the bathroom was very spacious. Priscilla serviced our room daily which was fully equipped and bed was very comfortable. Access to dining area makes self catering a breeze to warm up ready made meals. The pool area is ideal for reading and sun tanning. Ideally positioned to cliff path, restaurants and shops a short drive away. Fully secure parking and lovely gardens. We'll be back again next year.
We stayed at House on Westcliff three times and always enjoyed our holiday there. Our friends also travelled with us and love staying there, it is very quiet and cozy.

A lovely Bed n breakfast down a quiet road. Only a minutes ride to the shops, bars n restaurants. Our little hut was clean, cosy and perfect - especially with the added biscuits left to have with our tea n coffee. Lynda was a great host. Giving us lots of advice on where to visit. Would highly recommend.
After a long drive from Knysna we were delighted to be staying at the House on Westcliff. Our little bungalow room was very comfortable, clean and tidy. The walk in shower was really refreshing and we loved the added bonus of a jar of biscuits to have with our tea and coffee! Lynda was really kind and helpful, giving us advice on places to go and visit while we were there for the two days. Would highly recommend.
This was the perfect spot for our 30-day visit to Hermanus and area. With 6 rooms plus a larger efficiency unit, they have great options. A wonderful breakfast was served daily, our room was tidied up, beds made, bathroom cleaned daily. GM Lynda was the best! She always asked about our day plans and offered lots of welcomed eateries and events for our consideration. The large breakfast setting offered plenty of relaxed sitting and gave opportunity for us to entertain friends and family. The grandkids loved the pool! Keep our names handy, we'll be back!
A truly great place to stay when visiting Hermanus. Quiet area, just 200 yards from the Cliff Path. We immediately felt at home, with the beautiful garden, the cosy breakfast room and staff hospitability. A superb starting point for discovering Hermanus and the surroundings.
Super verblijf, wij zijn hier geweest voor 1 nacht. Reinier is een super nette en aardige man! Comfortabel verblijf met goede faciliteiten. Alles was schoon, de bedden waren fijn. Het enige minpuntje voor ons was dat de douche een zwakke straal had.
House on Westcliffe is a little walk away (15 mins) from the centre of Hermanus and we absolutely loved that fact as it made us take the coastal path (indescribably stunning and meant we saw whales every day we were there!!) into town. It also means it’s 5 mins away from the New Harbour and the restaurants there. We absolutely loved our room - very spacious, clean, beautifully decorated. The staff were really helpful - we needed some laundry done and that was quickly turned around. Breakfasts were simple but perfect every time. Just lots of happy memories to be made here… :-)
