Lovely stay in Elm at The Arden. The room was very comfortable if a little tired, and would benefit from improved lighting. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant on the Saturday evening and an excellent breakfast.

Brilliant Location
For the RSC theatre, Stratford sights and the riverside.
Beautiful stylish decor rooms larger than usual.
Facilities great dressing gowns toiletries fruit and water in rooms.
Delicious freshly cooked breakfast lots of choice.
All staff were friendly and helpful.
Would definitely visit again.

This is our 3rd stay here . It is a brilliant hotel in a great location for a theatre trip. Every detail has been thought of in the rooms except for reading light for bed in Fig room which we’ve stayed in twice now . Light is so poor you can’t read in bed . However that was the only criticism on the visit - everything else was excellent. Cooked breakfast is a treat in the lovely dining room .

The Arden is ideally located. The hotel is tired, a bit grubby and dated could do with a really good scrub and make over. Eg the grouting is piled thick with numerous applications, the shower fittings are rusty, the shower tray repair upon repair, the carpets are very grubby and stained. For the nightly rate one would expect a higher standard.
Won’t return but would rather stay at Hotel du Vin or another in the town.

Love this beautiful hotel, perfect location opposite the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and easy walking distance from the centre of Stratford upon Avon. Very convenient location, large car park, very helpful staff. Special mention to Peter on Reception for warm welcome and helpfulness. Clean, comfortable with everything you need. Only need to be a bit wary of the varying levels, due to its history and location. Rooms are reached by several sets of stairs and there is no lift other than a platform lift from reception to restaurant (which is also street level).

Lovely Hotel just across the road from the RSC theatres, friendly welcoming staff, excellent food. Will definitely book again.

Very good service everywhere. Bar manager was brilliant. Food was very good, great location and will be back!
