  • Guest：this place is incredibly beautiful and perfectly blended with nature. The staff are exceptionally hospitable and truly understand how to make guest feel welcome. The location is stunning offering breathtaking panoramic views of the entry surroundings. What's more that is absolutely the food is absolutely delicious. I truly look forward to visiting this place again.
  • Guest：Fabulous hotel , staff were so attentive and friendly , the waiter Yaso , met our every needs during meal times . Selva took us for a tour and attended to our every need . The service was so personal . The Hotel itself , wow beautifully colonial, clean and immaculate. Heated pool a lovely bonus
  • Guest：We loved our one night stay here in the old governor’s bungalow on the hill. It felt as though we had stepped back in time walking into the hotel, which only has 8 rooms. Each room downstairs is filled with portraits from important figures from the past and is filled with lavish furniture. Each room is named after one of the previous governors and our room (we were upgraded) was called William Gregory and was beautifully furnished. We used the pool which was heated and had the best hilltop views over the surrounding area.Throughout our short stay, we were treated like royalty - nothing was too much trouble. Having pre-ordered our dinner when we checked in, we enjoyed eating it in the dining room where we were the only guests. The food was amazing and was presented beautifully. The staff ensured that our glasses were never empty and we enjoyed chatting with them during our evening. We only saw two other guesses whilst we were there which made us feel like we were there alone! They have a pool table in one of the rooms which we enjoyed playing in the evening. The next morning we enjoyed breakfast outside by the pool - on our own! They then gave us a bag filled with goodies for our journey which was really kind. It definitely was the best service we’ve had in Sri Lanka and one day we hope to return!
  • Guest：The property was spotless and beautifully maintained. The atmosphere transports you to colonial times with a spacious room and a bed that invites you to sleep very pleasantly. Everything is very clean and dinner as breakfast gave us incredible amounts of food. The Staff is always attentive and watchful that everything was perfect. we spend our honeymoon there, and we had an intimate and very romantic dinner with freshly cut flowers from their own garden.
