Guest：We just spent 3 nights at Feathertop and it was great. The owners are lovely and welcoming, and always happy to have a chat and recommend local activities. We were particularly impressed by Steve dropping off the kayaks and paddleboards for residents to use at the dam. The rooms are exactly as advertised - our only complaint was a lack of powerpoints in the family sized room (we could only find one three burner power board under the bunks, but we have phones and watches to charge up so that was a bit tricky). Sergio at the restaurant is one of the most amazing chefs I’ve experienced in Australia. His food is absolutely out of this world - have dinner here at least once in your stay. He also managed to put out a five course meal on New Year’s Eve with NO POWER - I don’t know how he did it.
Guest：The most accommodating and exceptionally supportive owners, a fantastic friendly bunch of staff with delicious food in a cosy comfortable setting and great location. Why stay anywhere else! My son and I arrived as Victoria’s 5th lockdown started! It was an OMG moment with the mountain shutting down. Somewhat dumbstruck with our plans out the window and no way of us getting back to Launceston, in the timeframe to beat quarantine, we just got a drink and watched all other guests bar 1 (Adam) leave the mountain. I was so impressed as the owners politely supported everyone, with their quick exits, including providing refunds. What a horrible time for businesses and employees and amongst all of this both owners, Steve and Dani, provided us with the best support, accommodating our needs and making us feel so welcome. We were so happy we stayed as the experience was one to remember for a lifetime and the snow was fantastic even though we had to walk the mountain, we had it basically to ourselves.
Guest：Feathertop is Tops! You may not be able to get a booking this season but keep this place in mind for any other trips to Falls Creek. The owners and staff are so accomodating, the food is fantastic and the open fire and bar are perfect for apres ski. Yes, the rooms are small but perfectly comfortable. We will be booking again for next year.
Guest：Staying at Feathertop lodge was a lovely introduction for our family of 4 to Falls Creek. The staff were incredible & the food was absolutely delicious. Coffee also fabulous!! The ski in ski out option was appealing however not suited to beginner skiers i would say. There is other transport for the beginner skier. The rooms are small, (all rooms are on the mountain) however there is a place to put everything & your relaxing is done by the open fire in the common lounge which has a lovely ambience, you wont want to leave. Having a smaller room definitely takes some getting used to but once you work it out it really is no big deal!! We would stay there again!
