Our family loved our time at Cayman Villas, Port Douglas. It was an ideal property for a longer stay in the far North and convenient for getting around town, parking, family meals etc. We would love to return one day.

We loved it here!! Location - amazing, Apartments - huge, clean, comfortable and have everything you could need, Pool & BBQ area - perfect, Staff - so friendly and welcoming. Affordable too, especially due to the location and the facilities. We will be back

The apartment villa was fantastic - so spacious and comfortable for our week's stay. We made good use of the lovely pool. Location was perfect, literally a few mins walk from cafes and 4 Mile beach. It truly gave us a wonderful feel of the northern tropics.

We loved our stay at Cayman Villas. We stayed there before and recommended it to our friends who visited from Europe. They said it was the best accommodation of their whole trip and we agree. The apartment is spaciuos, clean, comfy beds, luxurious bathrooms, fantastic kitchen, lovely balcony, great pool area and of course the location is excellent with everything in walking distance. We will definitely stay again and recommend it to everyone!

Truly the perfect place to stay during your stay in Port Douglas. The apartment was large and fresh, and the location in Port Douglas great - 5 min walk to "down town" and the harbor in one direction and 5 min walk to "4 mile beach" in the other direction. The facility itself was overall very nice with a good pool. Everything worked perfectly well. The only thing you could comment on, which others have also noted, is that the starter pack is a bit ungenerous, especially a dishwasher tablet for each day would be appreciated. Maybe an opportunity for product development ;-) ?

Die Cayman Villas waren sicher vor Jahren exklusive Wohnungen, jetzt sind sie etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Wohnung ist grosszügig, die Sauberkeit mittm?ssig, obwohl im Beschreib steht, dass man nach einer Woche Anspruch auf Reinigung hat wurde nur das allern?tigste gemacht.
Lee die Frau von der Rezeption war gold wert, sie gab uns tolle Ideen und machte die Buchungen. Jederzeit konnten wir Rat bei ihr holen, danke.
Es gab kein gastronomisches Angebot.

Our apartment at Cayman was lovely and modern. Very spacious - dining table could seat 6. Full kitchen, two full bathrooms. Dishwasher, washer & dryer. Outdoor area with table.
Spotlessly clean. 5 minute walk to shops/restaurants/supermarket, and 5 minute walk the other way to the beach.
Helpful staff with good advice on local attractions.
Only thing to be aware of is this is more like an AirBnB than a resort - they don't replenish toilet paper, shampoo etc or service the apartment unless you stay 7 days (we stayed 6). However with supermarket nearby and washer/dryer this is not a big deal.
Towels a bit threadbare would be our only other criticism.

We loved our stay at Cayman Villas. The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. A spacious balcony overlooking the wonderful heated pool and palm trees. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was great. We walked everywhere. So close to the beach and the marina and an easy walk to shops and restaurants. Most importantly the people and the managers were super helpful and friendly.

We had a lovely stay at the Cayman Villas in a two bedroom apartment. The apartment was well equipped with a large kitchen, laundry including washing machine, dryer and large clothes rack, two large ensuite bathrooms including a large spa. The highlight was the large heated pool with loungers as well as the beautiful outside balcony with table and couch from our apartment. The beds were very comfy and I loved the seating area in the lounge room including modern tv. What could be improved? Our bedroom had outside shutters rather than blinds which made the bedroom very bright during the night and the morning. Blinds would be appreciated to help get a better nights sleep. The tiled flooring is very old and left us with dirty feet even after it was cleaned during our stay. The set of drawers were also falling apart in both bedrooms. Highlight? The location was amazing, it was a 5 min walk to the marina, the beach or Macrossan st. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We stayed at Cayman for seven days. Great weather in August. We were in apartment 5. A previous guest in the same same apartment (5), Jane Levinson, wrote a detailed and objective review on Google Maps only a week before our arrival. We support and endorse her comments. The apartment is very spacious particularly for a couple. Something that jolts is the miserly “starter package” of tiny motel style tubes of shampoo, and, I think, three only dish wash tabs. At $600+ per night high season tariff, Cayman could do much better. Airbnb accommodations are so far ahead in this regard. Bring your own condiments and cling wrap. Yes, the bright orangey floor tiles provoke a Mexican cantina theme, but they are serviceable. Easy parking in the basement with allocated spaces. Be aware there are no lifts or ramps at Cayman. Our ground floor apartment was three steps down from reception and seven up to the apartment. We are elderly and we coped. Cayman location is excellent . A highlight for us was popping up to Macrossan st before brekky each morning for coffee at Nichas Cafe.
