We stayed just at 29 Dec 2025 the climate was heavily foggy with very rapid of tourists. We faced bad manner of the reception upon arrival which he insisted to wait for the room keys. We knew that our arrival time hasn’t met the check in time yet. ?We just want to be fast served for dropping luggages. Our time is more expensive than just wait the keys. Why couldn’t make it more easy and simple ?? ?Because we knew that we should lose much time to queuing at the ACTV Stations to get our tight itinerary. But he still insisted ?to fulfill what he wanted with saying if he did serve us for the best ( the best for him but not for his guests ).
The room is relatively old, it’s clean but old. And whenever you leave the hotel, you have to pass the key back to the reception staff and retrieve after you’re back.
A very charming, traditional Venetian hotel — classic in style and full of character. It’s not new, but the old-fashioned look actually adds to the atmosphere and feels authentic. The location and price were both very good, and overall, I really enjoyed staying there.
The room was small (as most in Venice are), but the bed was large and comfortable. The only real downsides were the noise — you can hear quite a lot from other rooms — and the very small shower. It would also be nice to have a kettle in the room for tea or coffee.
Still, it’s a lovely place if you want that classic Venice experience at a reasonable price. I’d stay again, especially for a short trip.
