We were not sure what to expect but it was everything and more. The resort is very nice. The rooms are well equipped with all necessities needed for sleeping because who spends all day in their room while at Lake George. It was a steep walk down to the beach but a golf cart can be there in seconds to drive you down or back up to the resort. The beach is so well kept. The grounds are beautiful. I personally loved the matching color of all the outdoor furniture as well as the flowering shrubs. From a boat, looks even more beautiful. We loved the quiet hours at night and that those staying on property adhered to this. Our last day, we walked down to the dock for the sunrise. It was breathtaking . We are already looking to plan a trip for next summer!

This is my family’s fourth time staying at the Stone Gate Resort. We love it. The property is beautiful. A perfect private beach and pool. The staff is great! The rooms are very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Lake George.

This is our second year staying at the Stone Gate Resort and we love it !! We stayed in a cabin, and the deocr was adorable. The beds were very comfy; we also loved the kitchen and got a lot of use out of it during our stay. We loved having our own private fire pit and grill as well. The private lakefront beach is stunning and well kept. The grounds are immaculate, beautiful, and peaceful as well. There are a ton of amenities to keep you busy, park,pool, lake,pickleball,etc. We will definitely be back !!

Our cousins gather each year in Lake Geoege-this is the second year they have stayed at The Stone Gate Resort. It was out first. Wonderful, family owned resort. The family couldn’t do enough for their guests. The rooms are very nice, comfortable and clean! The picnic area bbqs, firepits, brand new pickleball courts are great. The private beach is beautiful! At the end of the beach day, you can catch a golf cart to bring you back to your room. Great location. We will be back for sure. Thank you, Adrienne, Paul, Samantha and Spencer!

Great location and even better customer service. Private lake access with shuttle service from the lake back to your cabin or hotel room. Heated pool and multiple courts and fields for sports. You cannot ask for more out of a place. The deli at the front of the resort is awesome as well with a full liquor store which had a very surprising selection of hard to find bourbons. To top it all off it’s less than a 5 minute drive to the center of lake George village. 10/10 would stay here again!

First, I have to say that we stumbled upon this gem! And this place did not disappoint in any way shape or form. My boys and I took a quick two days away and We had such an amazing time at the Stone Gate Resort. This place is family owned, and they make you feel so welcomed. My room was very clean And beautifully decorated with Adirondack decor. The beds were so comfortable and I woke up refreshed and well rested each morning. The game room is brand new and offers quite a bit of fun. There is a pool that is super clean. A private beach with enough room and seating for all the guests. there are quite a few fire pits with Adirondack chair seating that is completely free for guests to use. I have been coming to Lake George for years since I was a little kid and I have no desire to ever stay anywhere else after my visit here. Thank you for a lovely visit!

The owners and staff are very attentive and helpful. the resort is perfect for families with young children with well kept play areas including the beach. Close proximity to downtown dining, shopping, mini golf and boat rides. Clean and inviting area.

I attended a family reunion at Stone Gate and was so impressed by the resort, owners, and staff! Everyone was so nice and accommodating - the owners even baked something in the office oven for our party and brought it over to us in the party room. The whole property is beautiful, impeccably clean and well-kept, and the staff is always around to help and serve in any way they can.

We absolutely love the Stone Gate Resort. We have made it an annual tradition to bring our family. Our two boys love the sandy beach. We loved the scavenger hunt this year. It really got us to interact with all the things the Stone Gate Resort had to offer.
