I only popped into the cafe, at the front of the hotel, drawn in my the kitchen window showcasing the hand made on site pastries, which were delicious and great coffee. In terms of the hotels location - you’re in the heart of it all bars and restaurants on the doorstep
Excellent hotel, in a good location with friendly and helpful staff. Good sized rooms with large bathrooms with walkin showers. Breakfast from the coffee shop at the front of the hotel was lovely with a good selection. Not far from stop 18 on the yellow Hop On Hop Off stops. Lots of restaurants and bars in the area, which we felt very safe in.
It was kind of difficult for me to review this property. It has everything to get a 5* rating. However, I could not do so for couple of reasons mentioned in my review. The location of the property is excellent, middle of loads of eateries, bars, small shopping options, public transportation etc. The property is cozy, clean and well maintained. The staff has been very friendly & English speaking. Always happy to help. The breakfast has been simple but offered enough choices and nicely served. We were offered breakfast 'to go' as we were leaving for a site visit early in the morning - 6 AM. Couple of things, none major for most guests, one should be aware and hence mentioning here. 1. The hotel has 2 floors - G & 1st. But there is no lift. If one has a bit of baggage like us, taking them to/ from the room could be little hassle. The hotel staff offered hands all the times though. Going out/ coming in times other than check-in/ out is not a problem. 2. We found the size of the room is on the smaller side. The bed & bathroom was big though; the bed was comfortable too. Overall, I will stay at this property again but possibly will manage my bags differently.
