Location could have been better with a better view . Amazing atmosphere with amazing staffs . I am more impressed with the behaviour and services of the all the staffs . Heritage Rooms could have been a little bigger according to the price but it’s worth all the money. It’s has really a peaceful environment with no noise from outside but only nature’s soothing sound . All the required amenities have been provided and the cleanliness is top notch .

We visited Darjeeling early Feb 2026 and stayed for 3 nights at this hotel. The place is cute beyond measure - a renovated 100+ year old British era prince’s mansion restored lovingly by the new owners. Gorgeous marble, bronze and sandstone statues, beautiful flowers all around, and lovely terracotta tiles - the staff mentioned that the owner had personally selected all the artwork around the place. The staff are warm and thoughtful. Rooms are cozy with a fireplace, and a modern bathroom. Food (we tried the buffet breakfast, the high tea, and continental dinner) was superb - the staff very attentive! Views of the Kanchenjunga are about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. We certainly plan to visit Darjeeling again and stay here - but also check out the other properties they have.

Lovely resort , a little away from the din of Mall road. Very friendly and warm staff. Airy, clean and well furnished rooms. However, if one is expecting the view of the snow capped mountains, this is not the place. Just 5 mins walk f4om hotel, if one is keen on views. Lovely view of sunset though. Good amenities, and facilities around hotel. Breakfast was good.

Mayfair Darjeeling is a standout property. The atmosphere is little cozy and worm welcoming, Beautifully maintained, we just stayed at this property for todays. The valley view was awesome. Absolutely loved everything about this place! Cozy rooms that felt like a warm hug in Darjeeling’s chill, hospitality that made us feel like family, and staff who went above and beyond at every step. They planned our sightseeing perfectly and arranged a wonderful chauffeur who made exploring a joy. And oh, the dinner buffet – a mouthwatering spread of delicious cuisines that I couldn’t get enough of! Truly an unforgettable experience

It was a great stay, the hoapitality was top notch the stuffs were helpful, the food was really good breakfast has vast menus and each of the dish was real good they have given us thr best service even arranged a entire cake ceremony with great gesture for my friend who wanted to celebrate her 10k followers. I want to say for thr experience visit mayfair your heart will be full of happiness

My honest opinion is that Mayfair Darjeeling is a beautiful home away from home! I am an avid traveler and have stayed in numerous 5 & 4 star properties but the hospitality here beats all others , & with a good margin! Great food, smiling staff with a talent for personal attention to each guest … what more can you ask for ! We stayed there for 4 nights but we already have plans to go back again in another time of the year .

It’s a heritage hotel in Dajeeling. Location is a bit far from the mall. Room rate is includes dinner but nothing stated while booking and checking-in We have a dinner in town and back to the hotel then got twice calls from the restaurant to check that we will have dinner in hotel restaurant or not.
