I had to travel to Bareilly on short notice and I booked two rooms in this hotel on my way there as it happened to be quite near to the place where I had business. On our arrival we found the Reception to be under renovation. The Club room was small but clean, the bath was also clean. The room service was prompt. The restaurant menu had exorbitant prices, so ordered dinner through Swiggy. The complimentary breakfast was good though it was a limited menu through room service, no buffet. A pleasant surprise was Morning newspaper at our door and handing over of water bottles for use in travel at the time of checking out. A suggestion; towel quality can be improved.

A pleasant surprise was Morning newspaper at our door. I had to travel again after a week and booked two rooms in this hotel. This time I was thoroughly disappointed and regretted my decision. Due to the ongoing renovation work, the electricity was switched off every now and then, sometimes every 10 minutes and consequently Air Conditioning became ineffective. Elevator did not work when we needed to use. My 80 years old mother-in-law and myself 60 years old heart patient had to use stairs to reach our rooms at 2nd floor; and this happened multiple times. Room service was very tardy this time and we had to ask four times for simple needs such as water, which we finally got after one hour that too after I got down to the ground floor to complain at the reception. I would advise the hotel to shut down operations till the renovation work is completed so that guests do not face inconvenience. Another suggestion; towel quality can be improved.
