Walk to the beach and go area restaurants was great. Staff was very nice.

Parking was tight but adequate. Would have liked to have a chair in the room. No where to sit except the bed or a hard outdoor bench. Great location and helpful staff. Would definitely return especially with its proximity to the beach!

Room we stayed in was on the small side yet very functional. No beach view but beach is just cross the street. Would definitely stay here again.

The people who operate this hotel and its sister, Ocean Resort, are lovely. We needed a last-minute reservation and they were able to accommodate us a first night at Ocean Resort, and the second at Aquilina.
Both hotels are old-school "mom and pop" looking. We can't say anything negative about Ocean Resort.
But Aquilina has issues: the through the window AC/heater unit is incredibly noisy. Worse, the plumbing noises coming from the unit above us were so loud that we were afraid water was about to come through the ceiling. It interfered with our night's sleep.
I would stay again at Ocean Resort but I don't think I'd go back to Aquilina.

Accommodations were clean, staff was great, grounds were well taken care of. Very short walk to a beautiful beach and lovely town. Great place to stay!

Overall the hotel was nice, clean and conveniently located. The hotel offered a $50 early check-in option. I requested this early check-in for 12:00 as we had a wedding to attend and it was a great option for us to get dressed in the hotel room rather than travel in our wedding outfits. I received an email on Tuesday stating that my request for check-in at 12:00 was approved. Unfortunately when we arrived on Sunday, we were told that early check-in wasn’t possible, and that the option was to get changed in the pool bathroom. If I had known that it was not possible in advance, we would have arrived ready in our wedding outfits. I was very disappointed that the hotel misrepresented the approved early check-in by emailing me, and not communicating with me otherwise.

The room was simple but lovely. The bathroom looked brand new and was pretty and spotless. And the staff was very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Love this property! Clean, affordable. They have beach chairs and towels. Pool is nice! Plenty of places to sit outside the room.

Room was nice and quiet , cold AC loved being right near the town you can walk back and forth to the room in 10 min . Beach was right there only 3 min walking distance and using the pool was great too nice and warm. Parking right out front was convenient overall great place to stay !
