enjoyed my stay here for 5 days. rooms are great . they have swimming pool and gym as well. Jenath Manager is a great asset for them , friendly and courteous. Watchman Senathirajah has a beautiful smile when entering the hotel :)
will visit again

Our group needed 3 rooms. 2/3 rooms the A/C worked. After the first night, the room with non functioning A/C we did let the front desk know. We don’t think any attempt was made to resolve the issue during the day. When we came back to the hotel and raised the issue, we were moved to another room claiming the A/C worked but it was marginally better.
Rooms were never cleaned during the day. We had to ask for new coffee cups for the room. There were no towels provided till we asked.
It appears the location doesn’t have a restaurant. All food is brought in. So, you need to give an hours notice, if you wish to have your meal there. For certain food items, you need to give them 24 hour notice (eg crabs).
Bathrooms really need to be scrubbed down more. There is a fair bit of residue in the tile and grout. The shower in one room, didn’t want to stay where positioned. It would slide down the bar and spray at waist height.
When I booked the reservation, it indicated breakfast included (on the ******* site). Upon check-in, they first said “no” and it wasn’t included. I needed to show the ******* site before they agreed.
Lastly, we ran into a long time friend of the family who had booked in here. He is a native of Sri Lanka. After one night, he moved to another hotel in Jaffna town. From his perspective, the hotel was “sub-standard”.

Very nice place to stay. Excellent food options especially Jaffna cuisine were made exceptionally good. Rooms are clean. Good hot water shower. Very cordial and accommodative staff Some suggestions were Dining area close to the pool should have some ceiling fans Please include coffee in the room

No value for your money
The hotel needs to improve. Staff were polite and helpful but need more training. They may be overworked. Yamini, Darshan, Perimila and Sujeveen were always willing to help. We could not get hot water or it kept running out. Somedays the hotwater was turned off. The shower in the bathroom was broken. Staff dont arrive at the hotel till 7.30 a.m.
Staff are happy to make you dinner at your request. Choice is limmited. Food is resonably good. We ran out of food on the first night.
Given the price they charge for the rooms and food it is not a good value. Charging North American prices but not being able to deliver the standad.
Book through aagoda the local sri Lankan website and it was cheaper

Nice & Clean Place.... Staff were very good & accomodating. I stayed at Room number 4. one constructive critisism is that the bathroom shower tap is located so high up that a short person/Kid cannot reach the shower Tap. My humble suggestion is to get the tap a bit lover.......Other than that everythig was good.
