We returned to the hotel after previously seeing a hotel guest eating a large flat fish on their plate. It was something we wanted to taste and we were not let down. Pan fried, the large fish composed of snow white flesh fried in butter served with new potatoes and parsley sauce. Very simple but filled with plenty of flavour. We ate outside in the sun with many other diners. The price was 285 kroner. Fair enough for the quality and experience. Recommended.
We are a US family and visited Hotel GS in July, to break up our stay in Copenhagen. We were unfamiliar with the area and tried to ensure that we were staying in a walkable area, near the beach and with good amenities. We were not disappointed ... The hotel excelled on all counts. It is located on the north coast, near other lovely towns. Just a lovely area, we enjoyed the sunset balcony and the hotel restaurant is really excellent. Staff was very friendly and accommodating too.
