The hospitality was very good And the rooms were clean I wanted a quiet stay and the house was lovely and quiet I could hear the waves beating the beach when I slept Very peaceful

We had a wonderful time at Mount Lavinia. The staff are all so friendly and the food is excellent. The views from the pool and bar are stunning. Tashani was very helpful organising our return trip. I would highly recommend.

Mount Lodge Boutique Hotel is a 3-bedroom 'Heritage Hotel' and B&B and doesn’t have a pool/bar. Could you double-check and post this to the correct property so future travellers get the right info? Der Wirt und seine Frau sind wirklich sehr nett und machen ganz tolle Egghopper. Ich muss aber einen Punkt für das Preis-/Leistungsverh?ltnis abziehen. Erstmal f?hrt man dreimal vorbei, bis man die Tür entdeckt. Drinnen durch die "Lobby" oder besser Garage. Der Chef parkt da sein Auto. Und hoch zu den Zimmern. Das Bett ist gut. Aber für mehr als schlafen, ist dieses Hotel nicht gemacht. Im Vergleich mit unseren anderen Unterkünften ist der Preis ist um das Doppelte zu hoch. 50.- w?ren ok. Leider fühlten wir uns etwas abgezockt, als wir um 8uhr morgens übermüdet ankamen, satte 40.- draufzahlen mussten, weil check-in erst um 13uhr ist. Zimmer war aber frei..

Great boutique hotel. Each room also has a separate indoor and outdoor sitting area. Breakfast was lovely. Staff very attentive. Only change I would suggest is a screen for the standard room to the toilet door. Location is also hood. Near town centre, beach and train station. A god few nice restaurants nearby also

We stopped here before we flew to Jaffna the welcome was warm and friendly. Rooms where immaculate and clean cleaner than some of the 5* Hotels. Breakfast was nice . Decoration of the hotel was very nice . Would definitely return if I needed a base near Colombo .

Mount Lodge is a 3BR house, built on 3 levels, with each BR getting its own bath, garden, and each floor with an indoor/outdoor living space- so it’s perfect for 6 people. The location is perfect - a 5 min walk to the beach, and a 2 min walk to Mount Lavinia Hotel. Best of all the house comes with a very sweet caretaker couple - they took care of all our needs - cooking, cleaning, tons of laundry, it was the best thing about our stay. We would absolutely stay there again.

Wonderful place to stay. The rooms are very clean and has a beautiful balcony too. Benjamin, the host, ensures everything is well taken care of before check in. Padmini and Gamini who live on property are very kind to cater to your needs. Plus points for a sweet cat and the sweetest dog they have on property.
