Kuptsov Dom is just 200 metres from the First Russian Theatre named after F. Volkov and a 10-minute walk from the Volga Embankment. Nearby there is the Kazan Convent, the Yaroslavl State Philharmonic, the exhibition hall of the Union of Artists and Kirov pedestrian Street, popular among Yaroslavl residents, with a large selection of restaurants, cafes and souvenir shops.

The hotel has 20 cozy, bright rooms decorated with paintings and engravings with views of Yaroslavl. It offers bright, air-conditioned rooms with a flat-screen TV, refrigerator, desk and wardrobe. The modern bathroom has a shower.

Guest：This time around, it was in October. As before, we came there by car. My wife and I. I have nothing to add to my previous excellent review. Superb! Since on the last occasion we had somewhat hefty baggage and the hotel does not offer a porter's service, I'd asked for a room on the ground floor and we got it. The room was impeccably clean, boasted reliable sound insulation, a comfy bed, two bottles of water and a basket of fruit as a complimentary amenity, and other small extras which make a traveller's life more enjoyable. Take a bow, buddies!
Guest：Having read all these reviews it's a tough task to add something pleasant than other guests already reported. Indeed it's fantastic location in the very centre of Yaroslavl, everything is around in a few minutes of walking. Be advised that they have very limited parking lots, and it's hard to guess where the entrance to the parking is located. Call them and ask for guidance. Cozy room with homey and comfortable beds. However reading lights were right above heads, not on left or right side - above. So be careful when you get out of bed, it may hit you head. Two types of blinds provide almost complete blackout. Fridge with minibar upset me, it was a kind of noisy. Yet that didn't hinder my sleep. Others could be more vulnerable to such sounds. Likewise I have reasons to complain about air conditioner. We thought that temperature in the room should be warmer. So decided to engage air conditioner into heating. Based on its remote it was capable of doing that job. To our regret it didn't heat air. Instead it produced gurgling sounds while cooling air.
Guest：В целом неплохой отель. Чисто, уютно, удобная постель, качественное белье. Отличное расположение, рядом много ресторанов. магазинов. Все впечатление испортил буфет-ресторан... Кофе-машина не настроена, экономят, видимо. Вместо кофе - вода с запахом кофе. обслуживающий персонал не имеет понятия, как взаимодействовать с кофе-машиной.., да и вообще с гостями. "Угощайтесь, дорогие гости, если хотите шампанского - открывайте бутылку и пейте"... То есть мне самой надо открыть бутылку?! Ребята, вы серьезно?! Или еще шедевр: "какое такое эКспрессо? У нас только черное кофе(!) и кофе с молоком". Смешно и грустно. Однако, если пить чай и не пить шампанское - отель отличный :)
Guest：Начитавшись отличных отзывов, была немного разочарована отелем. У меня был стандартный 2хместный номер. Он был на 1м этаже, это как полуподвал, вид из очень низких окон был на другое здание практически вплотную, потом около моих окон очень близко парковались две огромные машины, и получается, что все время пребывания в номере я любовалась на грязные автомобили. Из-за такого расположения также было очень темно. Считаю, что это большой дискомфорт , и цена на такие номера должна быть снижена ( а она достоаточно высокая), или вообще здесь должно быть подсобное помещение. По самому номеру - кровать очень тесно поставлена между стенами, так что даже для меня , худой, было неудобно подходить. Пластиковая душевая кабина- извините, это прошлый век. Сразу после двери внутри номера лежал грязный коврик. Зачем? для чего? очень портил вид комнаты. Также есть претензия по организации завтраков. Помещение, конечно, мизерное, и я не представляю, что если придут сразу все постояльцы. Когда я пришла минут за 40 до окончания завтрака, оставалось буквально 1-2 кусочка сыра и практически не было мясной нарезки. Наивно думала, что будут подкладывать, но нет! никто до конца завтрака не доложил ничего! то есть - берите, что осталось! и да, как пишут в других отзывах, еда невкусная и выбор скудный, если только вы не фанат каш, товорожная запеканка это было вообще нечто в негативном смысле... Просто для информации - в отзывах опять же пишут, что в номере были фрукты в качестве комплимента, а также халат. У меня в начале декабря 2024г. ничего этого не было. Халат предлагался за деньги. В целом, за отель не стоит своих денег, для меня было много минусов.
