Rent a car and stay here! This was our second trip here and we will be back. It’s a good distance away from the high rises and is peaceful, quiet and beautiful. Ton, Angelique, Tinike, and Peter are wonderful hosts. They have two dogs, tortoises, a giant parrot, and a newly acquired stray cat that accompany this lush, tropical paradise! Mila the housekeeper is warm and friendly and keeps everything here pristine. I can’t recommend enough! 10/10

I am giving Bananas Apartments a well-deserved five-star rating. A list of their key features includes a convenient location, ample apartment and outdoor space, a fully equipped kitchen, and a powerful and quiet AC. I would also note the tasteful decorations and a special homey aura about this place. A beautiful Macaw parrot named Luisa in the garden wouldn't say much but would most likely agree with whatever you say. The owners are friendly and pleasant to deal with. Thank you.

Netherlands family owned small hotel (apartments) walking distance to tres trapi, Boca Catalina & a short drive to Arashi beach. We felt like part of the family who live near/on-site. Unit #5 is a large inner corner one bedroom full kitchen setup gas stove & large bathroom. We loved the private shaded patio for meals watching & listening to the many birds. Stay here & you won’t blink twice splurging on the fabulous Aruban Cuisine at dozens of top notch restaurants. —best to have a car in this area — #5 is a good size with pull outs but I wouldn’t put 2 couples here because the bathroom in en-suite to the bedroom & at this price why would anyone do that anyway? —No room views but garden/pool area gorgeous & just a few feet out your door —Street is busy/fast so care must be taken walking to the beach or parking on the side of the road. Speed bumps should be put in —No gated parking but we had no issues. Rental cars inexpensive. —I found the bed pillows to be rather thick but bed comfortable —microwave ontop of the fridge was a bit precarious for a short gal —Aruba doesn’t cool much at night & fans, A/C definitely needed but worked well. —Very clean unit. Attentive staff. —Looks better in person than pics because the decor, colors are too neutral. I suggest bright throw pillow covers, bright clean sofa covers & some local bright art or photos. Next redo try white on one wall & an island bright color on another wall without going overboard. —Kitchen did have towels but no dishcloth/sponge/scrubbie, no dish soap. Easily gotten but would be nice day 1 — suggest an electronics power dock, plug/station for devices

We were visitors to Bananas in Aruba. We had stayed there a few times years ago (2017 and 2018). But this time we just stopped in just to visit a friend who was staying there. The improvements that they have made are terrific. The grounds are gorgeous, the pool, recently redone sparkles and the flowers and native plants are just gorgeous. It truly is a little oasis!

Останавливались в январе 2023 Это было грустно. Все старое! Мебель, двери, постель, полотенца- ну очень затасканные. По квартире снуют муравьи! Они везде! Большая Кровать—нечто иное как две рядом стоящие, постоянно двигающиеся кровати. Спать неудобно, подушки как лепешки, постельное белье ужасное. Кухня укомплектована посудой хорошо. Душ и туалет в одной комнате. Над умывальником висит шкаф, очень мешает умываться и чистить зубы. Уборка средняя. Бассейн, территория, зелень, животные сглаживают неприятные эмоции. Апартаменты находятся очень далеко от всех благ человечества. Нужен автомобиль. Рядом нет абсолютно ничего. Вечером в этот район общественный транспорт не хочет ехать. Улица не освещается. Palm beach в 30 мин ходьбы. Не вернусь в это место никогда, и не советую никому.
