I couldn’t fault the place! It was a perfect stay and if anything, I wish I was there longer. Fantastic customer service and quick to respond to any questions or queries prior to our arrival. They offered hotel transfers for us which made our travels at ease. I loved the scenery by the lake, and my only regret is not having the time to jump in the pool. On our stay we had a day trip planned prior to breakfast, in which they went above and beyond and supplied us with breakfast boxes which had more than enough supplies! Not to mention the actual breakfast itself had a good variety. Loved the location, staff and amenities, I would love to be back asap if I could…

The Hospitaly in this Hotel is exceptional all the way from the bedroom maids to the receptionist and kitchen staff.. Nothing to much for them... Their own swimming pool and lake and ample seating.. earthy decor and very peaceful on their own beach.. Again the staff make this place woberful..

Relax al lago Abbiamo trascorso tre giorni di relax al lago soggiornando in questo hotel, io c'ero stata qualche anno fa. Struttura molto comodo per raggiungere il centro di Sirmione. La camera non era molto spaziosa, niente frigo, pulita ; bagno piccolo ma con un set di cortesia ben fornito in monodose, letti comodi. Colazione molto ricca, cibi dolci 3 salati molto buone torte fresche e croissant, molto piacevole consumare la colazione vista lago, unica pecca buffet in un luogo piccolo e spesso facevi fatica a muoversi e servirsi. Ho trovato molto strano la richiesta di una cauzione di 100 euro per la camera e il pagamento di 7 euro per il parcheggio.. Però al lago I parcheggi sono molto cari. Piscina tenuta bene, personale gentile. Se avrò occasione di tornare al lago sicuramente questo è uno degli hotel più comodi anche per il prezzo.

Polite and friendly staff, good facilities, free WiFi. We didn't even try the pool, it was partly in the shade, not many sunbeds and close to the main road (albeit separated by a wall). Swimming in the lake was far nicer, not too cold, although was quite shallow. Be warned there is very little to do in the hotel if it's raining.

Beautiful lakeside location, lovely views across the lake with plenty of sunbeds & umbrellas. Lots of people swam in the lake from the jetty. It's only short walk to the centre of stunning Sirimone. There's a bus stop outside (you can get the bus to Verona without having to change buses). Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice & you can enjoy your breakfast on the terrace overlooking the lake. Our room was basic (I did see other reviews commenting on this) but very clean and serviced daily. The pool was very clean and great for a refreshing dip (pool area is in the sun until later afternoon). The staff were all great, very friendly and welcoming. Especially the cleaning staff and reception staff. A great value hotel in a perfect lakeside location.

Es w?re ein Kleinod wenn da nicht die Sache mit der Sauberkeit w?re und bei manch einem ein Desinteresse an den G?sten. Wir hatten 2 Panoramazimmer welche klein aber vollkommen ausreichend für 2 Personen sind. Bad klein aber ebenfalls ausreichend und mit kleinen Duschfl?schchen, Lotion, Zahnbürste, Kamm etc. ausgestattet. Einzig die Dusche ist recht klein für jemand der etwas gr??er und kr?ftiger ist. TV hat verschiedensprachige Sender, davon 5 deutsche. Balkon mit traumhaftem Seeblick war mit Tisch und 2 Stühlen ausgestattet. Ein Zimmer war sehr sauber, das andere sehr staubig. Die Zimmer im 1. und 2. Stock sind mit einem Aufzug oder Treppe erreichbar. ?ffnung der Zimmertür mit elektr. Karte. Frühstück kann bei sch?nem Wetter auf der Terrasse eingenommen werden. Jedoch konnte man sich teilweise vor Wespen nicht retten. Es war auch nicht angenehm neben gro?en Sonnenschirmen zu sitzen die über und über mit Insekten, Spinnen etc. übers?t waren. Der Boden drau?en ist ebenfalls unfallgef?hrdet durch wackelnde, erh?hte und defekte Platten. Auch hier wie fast überall mangelnde Sauberkeit. Frühstück selbst war ok wenn man nichts anderes gew?hnt ist. Hier wird leider auch sehr gespart.Kaffee gab es aus dem Spender, man konnte aber auch bei der Bedienung welchen ordern ( auch Cappuccino etc) Die Frühstücksterrasse sah nach dem Frühstück sehr mitgenommen aus da man die Stühle von dort auf die andere Seite brachte wo man nachmittags und abends zum Essen sitzen konnte. Aber auch dieser Bereich zeichnete sich durch wackelnde Platten etc. Sowie Ungeziefer unter den Tischen, Decke und Pflanzen aus. Die Stühle waren teilweise voller Vogelkot den man erst mal wegmachen musste bevor man sich seine Kleidung verdreckte. Nachmittags war eine kleine Holzbude offen wo man Getr?nke bekam. Die Liegewiese war sehr sch?n mit vielen Liegen und Schirmen ausgestattet. Enten und V?gelchen liefen herum. Direkter Seezugang zum Baden. Abendessen konnte man bei sch?nem Wetter drau?en zu sich nehmen ansonsten im Speisesaal. Der wiederum h?tte es auch mal n?tig gehabt das man die Spinnweben von den Lampen macht und den Boden mal geputzt h?tte. Das Essen war überschaubar aber recht gut. Von den Bedienungen ist klar Mirella hervorzuheben. Sie war eine Perle. Stets gut gelaunt, immer am aufr?umen und tats?chlich sauber machen wenn sie da war. Auch der Herr ( kenne leider seinen Namen nicht) an der Rezeption war super freundlich. Im Gro?en und Ganzen waren alle bis auf eine Ausnahme wirklich sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Swimmingpool haben wir nicht genutzt. Parkpl?tze sind genügend vorhanden. Im 2. Stock gibt es eine Dachterrasse mit Mobiliar. Die ist die letzten Jahre entweder nicht genutzt worden oder nie sauber gemacht worden. Alles voller Ameisen und Ungeziefer, Sitzgelegenheiten alles verdreckt. Bei Regen gibt es keine M?glichkeit sich mal irgendwo an einen Tisch zu setzen um etwas zu spielen. In der Lobby sind zwar paar Rattanb?nke und 2 kleine Tischchen, sowie ein Glast

Hotel Le Paul is situated right on Lake Garda which was very pleasant. It was freezing and very deep so not for nervous swimmers. There is a swimming pool.I booked a lateral lake view room. It wasn’t accurate as no view of the lake, just a tree! I upgraded ( very expensive) to a lake view which was beautiful. Concetta at reception was so helpful and even sent me a birthday card and cake. Other staff ( young people, waiters, waitresses) didn’t seem to know a lot and weren’t friendly. Breakfast was chaotic, a small space and lots of people, with lots of items missing. Walking distance to Sirmione. So pros: sitting by the lake, glorious! Check exactly what view you are getting. Cons: breakfast chaotic and finish sharp at 10 am, even at weekends Waiters wouldn’t allow us to reserve a table of 7. Staff unfriendly except Concetta, and a chap with a beard! Overall, Hotel La Paul is a good choice because of the location on the lake, and the peace and quiet.

Bella location direttamente sul lago. Giardino con vari lettini per il riposo. Bar con camerieri sempre disponibili. Giornate nella natura: papere, cigni e altri volatili sulle rive del lago. Ristorante fronte lago con ottima vista del tramonto

This review is for the onsite restaurant as I could not find a separate listing - Ristorante Canneto. We did not stay at the hotel. As an aside, there is no sign at the road advertising this restaurant, we only went there based on our friend's recommendation. On the recommendation of a friend who lives in the area, we ate dinner here one evening. The restaurant is situated at the back of the Hotel La Paul and one can either eat outside on the terrace or inside. Regardless where you chose to sit, the view were wonderful. Parking is also available for free – a plus when visiting this area. Just announce that you will be eating at the restaurant and the gate well be opened. Seafood, vegetarian and gluten free options are available. I chose gnocchi in saffron sauce while my husband had the seafood spaghetti, all washed down with several glasses of excellent white wine. I am not a big eater, but I had no difficulty finishing my meal as it was delicious. My husband, not a huge fan of pasta, pronounced that his meal was supper nice. Service was attentive and the staff very approachable, and the overall cost affordable.

Lovely hotel with attentive staff that always welcome you. Room was tidy and had all the necessities required and more (shower gel, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, coffee, tea etc)! Pool was lovely and even got to dip on the lake outside the back of the hotel which was great. Breakfast was good and offered a range of food. I loved the variety of cheese and hot chocolate! Would come again.
