My recent stay at Hotel Elios Taormina was far from satisfactory. The rooms are outdated and, to make matters worse, there were cockroaches in the room and mold in the bathroom. We were also charged an additional €60 for parking, which was quite a surprise. The breakfast offered was extremely limited, consisting only of toast and a few sweet pastries. Despite the booking information stating that the rooms had mini-bars, there was no fridge in our room. Moreover, the staff was unhelpful and unfriendly. During check-out, the receptionist was very rude and did not provide us with receipts for the parking fee or the city tax. Overall, I would not recommend this accommodation to others. The price is high, and the rooms are not only old but also dirty. This experience was disappointing, and I suggest looking for other options if you are visiting Taormina.
