  • Guest：It like ?ali?, I visit three or four times a year. This May 2025 I stayed at the Daphne Residence for the first time - I will definitely be returning. The management and staff are extra helpful - they go out of their way to assiat guests, the rooms are very clean and kept clean by diligent cleaners, the Alia bar/restaurant staff are always happy, especially ìlknur, Hürrem and Teo who always made us feel special. The Alia serves up excellent food and it's manager is top class. The whole 'residence' was peaceful and a joy to stay there. I travel with family, friends and also solo; Daphne would be perfect for whoever I holiday with. Ten out of ten.
  • Guest：Just returned, a lovely experience, very clean, decent pillows and excellent wi-fi, plus a fantastic Bar/Restaurant on site, a family run business and it shows, would recommend highly. Clean pool, location right beside the beach, a short stroll to supermarkets also.
  • Guest：Disappointing!! The hotel itself is nice, but spoilt by management. Our room was not cleaned and no clean sheets or towels for 6 days, then I went to find the cleaners and was given 2 towels between 3 of us and one single sheet to do it myself!! My husband has severe mobility issues and needs a scooter, the first two days the restaurant charged it for us, but then the restaurant manager and the hotel manager refused to charge it, even though we were more than happy to pay and was using the restaurant. Luckily the camp site opposite charged it for us otherwise we would have been stranded!! We felt uncomfortable in the hotel for the rest of the holiday. The ground floor rooms have 5 steps up to the room so not disability friendly at all. We have come to Calis regularly for 18 years but will not stay in this hotel.
  • Guest：Stayed here for 10 days. Not very welcoming at all on arrival! Got shown our room. Had 3 kids with us and 4 suitcases cases on the top floor which is fine, it is what it is, but no help bringing all my suit cases up (every other hotel in calis we have had help with our cases to the room) cleaners come in once all the time and that’s only because I asked for them after 6 days! Had to get our own toilet roll, towels and bed sheets! Very disappointing and nothing like other hotels in Calis! Staff at the bar dreadful no customer service. Can tell there just brought in students for the season. Had to ask for my cup of tea 5 times one morning took 20mins to come! It wasn’t even busy! Far better hotels in calis I’m afraid. Be going back to the Diana for us next time stick to what is good !
