Excellent stay at Dar Kika Salam in the center of the old city of Rabat. Convenient and close to various historic sites and the medina.
Abdel and the rest of the staff were welcoming and hospitable, and they did their best to accommodate.
Try the Moroccan tea and pastilla!
Breakfast is adequate (yogurt and the coffee were excellent).
Showers are hot and I found the room comfortable, even in early winter. Very cozy coverlet on the bed.
Staff also agreed to hold my bags after check out.
As with all riads- this is a renovated, historic home so do prepare to hear other guests entering and exiting rooms throughout the day/night (earplugs came in handy).
Hope to stay here again next time I am in Rabat.

Situation idéale à l’entrée de la médina, très facile à trouver, personnel très attentionné, chambre bien équipée (dommage que la télé ne marche pas, ni la Clim réversible) mais un peu froide.

Das Riad war soweit in Ordnung. Es wirkte verlassen. Kaum Personal, liebloser Speiseraum auf der Dachterasse. Es war alles zweckm??ig, aber nichts zum wohlfühlen. Das Frühstück am ersten Tag bestand nur aus abgepackter Marmelade, Honig und Schmelzk?se. Erst auf Nachfrage haben wir am 2.Tag einen frischen Obstsalat dazubekommen. Positiv ist die Lage unmittelbar an der Festung und zum Strand. Wir kommen in dieses Riad nicht wieder.

War sehr gepflegt und ruhig. Tradionelles marokkanisches Haus. Letzte Sanierung schon etwas her.

What a beautiful Riad experience. We loved our room, except the A/C was leaking due to condensation. But other than this, everything is perfect! Abdul is very nice and very helpful. My daughter and I felt safe navigating the inside streets. This Riad is close to the Medina and the Beach. They are close to a wonderful restaurant that we tried per Abdul's recommendation. Breakfast is served at the top roof terrace with a panoramic view of the city. Very nice!
