Our first stop driving round Spain and Portugal. Nice hotel, quite dated but in an elegant way. Breakfast, in their attached cafe, was excellent - all freshly cooked to order. As mentioned by others, there is no parking at all, and finding the underground parking, and paying top price for it, was a bit of a nightmere. Sadly our room was at the back and overlooked - nothing much at all.

We enjoyed our stay at the Alcomar. If you have an inland view room facing a street it can be noisy so always try to book a sea view room. The reception staff were always helpful and breakfast was satisfactory. The hotel's location enables an easy walk to the railway and bus stations and there is a good supermarket adjacent to the hotel. The sandy Playa de San Lorenzo beach is adjacent to the hotel. and is good for swimming. If you are staying there, take a train west to Cudillero, a pleasant seaside small town otr visit the Gijon botanical gardens, an easy bus ride for the bus station. There are a number of museums in Gijon - the local railway museum is also worth a visit..

This maybe old fashioned hotel is situated on the beach front within walking distance of everything. Old town, Elogio del horizonte. It doesn’t have parking, but public parking at €22/day available. Clean, great bed, pillow to share. Bathroom adequate with shower only. Room with roll down shutters keeps all light out. Room also a bit warm. Location is perfect.

Estupendo. íbamos a una cena y nos quedamos a dormir y desayunar. El chico quiere nos atendió en la cafetería para el desayuno súper amable y gentil!!.
