Convenient location, reasonable prices and breakfasts, and, most importantly, friendly staff. We received detailed directions from the airport and the vaporetto stop, along with a video. The Superior DBL room #16 was clean, warm, and cozy, with all the amenities. Please note that there is no elevator. The hotel has a small, charming courtyard. The melodic ringing of the bell from the Church of the Holy Apostles adds a romantic touch.
Great place to stay, close to everything. Very quiet but walls are paper thin so it depends on the other guests (I was lucky). Single room was fine but bathroom is very tiny, especially the shower. I had a very good deal so this was ok with me. Friendly staff. Water at disposal, sparkling and mineral, for free.
Clean room - yes
Very hot even in cooler temperatures.
Bed and pillows were humid.
Limited hot water and pressure
Front desk closed at 7pm
Fresh croissants and breads every morning
Internet and TV problems
Friendly front desk
The staff were kind and helpful and very knowledgeable. The room, small, lacked a place to put luggage and clothes, but as a old boutique hotel, not unexpected. We did have some trouble keeping the water in the shower area. Please know that this hotel is located in more of a residential area, so there will be noises in the morning and late evening as people pass by.
I WOULD’VE said I’d stay here again. That is no longer true. My husband, myself, and our infant daughter stayed here three nights. The first day was great; they actually gave us a bigger room than booked so our daughter had room to move around. Gave us the wifi, asked if we wanted breakfast included, etc, standard hotel things. The AC was difficult to work and were exhausted so we just went without overnight. Our daughter was really hot and sweaty and fell asleep an hour later than usual once we put a cool washcloth on her. In the morning, we were finally able to figure out the AC and left the hotel to explore for the day, excited to come back to a comfortable room. When we got back to our room in the late afternoon, the AC had been shut off and it was hotter in our room than outside. It was annoying but whatever so we turned it back on. We got some snacks for the night as I’m breastfeeding and get hungry in the middle of the night and didn’t think about it again. Until the third day. Our daughter woke up super early and they have quiet hours so we slipped out, got some pastries, and slipped back in to our room to not disturb anyone. There was also a sign with an X through it on pictures of food on the front door, so I was trying to be cautious that it seemed they didn’t want food in the foyer, which had some nice furniture in it. We went out for the day and when we came back in the afternoon, our daughter was screaming crying and overly tired, so we were hurrying back. When we got into the lobby, we were stopped by a new worker who told us that we were not allowed to have food in our room. I was confused why they were telling us this when we had openly brought up pastries and gelato a night before to our room and had not been told this rule. They said they found crumbs of our pastries and that food was not allowed but could be eaten in the common area which was behind the foyer. I was flustered by this so just said okay, explained about our tired baby, and took our daughter upstairs for her nap. My husband put our key in the lock and turned it both ways but it wouldn’t budge. He went downstairs and explained and the same lady came up with a master key and unlocked it. A special lock had been put in place that couldn’t be opened by our key, only hers. We took that to mean they did that so we would have to come down and be told about the food rule. They quite literally locked us out of our own hotel room that we had hurried back to for our screaming daughter just to make sure they told us to not eat food in the room. And the cherry on top, we got into the room, and the AC was off, AGAIN, leaving the room hot and it took longer for our daughter to fall asleep, needing a wet washcloth again. We were not told the rule about the food when we first came in nor we were told not to use the AC. The AC thing just seems like a way to save money but it made us miserable especially when we were sweating from outside. The food rule also just see
Lovely staff who were incredibly helpful both beforehand over whatsapp with directions and letting us know about a public transport strike, and while we were staying there. Would absolutely stay there again. Convenient both to get to and to reacb the major sights and lovely restaurants and an amazinv cocktail bar less than 5 mins away.

Thank you so much for your kind words from all the staff of Hotel Apostoli Garden
