The service here was lovely from everyone we met. We had an executive triple room which was ok but quite small. Breakfast was very nice, but the hot food was not kept hot apart from the one containing pastries, the burners were not on either of the others on both mornings. Great spot though for all that Thessaloniki has to offer and very reasonable.

The hotel is easily accessible from the airport via public transportation. It is located in a busy area with many restaurants and shops. The tourist sites of Thessaloniki are easily accessible on foot or by public transportation. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. The room had a balcony, and it was a nice way to spend an evening. The area around is safe, and you can walk around at night. A good stay all in all.

Hotel ligt aan de hoofdstraat door Thessaloniki. Op 3-hoog heb je daar geen last van. Balkon is niet echt een voordeel, je zit tenslotte bovenop het verkeer. Parkeren kan in een (dure) parkeergarage of op straat (erg lastig langer dan 1/2uur). De kamers zijn krapjes maar functioneel en voldoende. Er is airco en een koelkast, zeepjes en badkamerjassen. Het ontbijtbuffet is voldoende/goed. Tip: buskaartje koop je bij de Yes! winkel 200 mtr verderop of bij de loketautomaat in de bus(niet bij de chauffeur). I’ve stayed at this hotel for the past 3 years and always had a great experience which explains why I choose it again and again. Until, on the 2nd day of my stay, early in the morning, a woman knocked and just entered my room while I was asleep. No permission. I was shocked. She did it again on the 3rd day, saying when she just opened the door again- she wanted to “ask a few questions” about my stay. She was from the reception (I think , she never clarified). This is completely inappropriate—such things should be handled by phone or during checkout, not by opening a guest’s door without permission, especially when they could be sleeping (which I was), showering, etc. She even admitted she didn’t hear anyone inside but opened the door anyway -TWICE. That’s a major violation of privacy. I’m just thankful it was a woman and not a man—but honestly, that shouldn't even be a thought. The housekeeping staff is always kind and polite. The front desk, could work on being more welcoming. And please train your staff not to open guest rooms uninvited. I’ve loved this hotel for years, but this incident left a bad impression.

There is a problem with their savage system. Asked them to repair my toilet as flush doesn’t work. They didn’t repair it. You are expecting more comfort after paying that amount of money but hotel is really old and I don’t think it’s value of the money has given

I highly recommend Hotel Mandarino in Thessaloniki Super clean ,nice room with bathroom. The bed and pillow were really comfortable. We got a delicious buffet breakfast every morning Staff were so helpful 24/7 reception Very central hotel close to restaurants, cafeterias and shops Great experience for me and my 5 other Maltese friends 2nd -7th February 2025

Great hotel in central area. Clean comfortable rooms, charming and helpful staff. Decent breakfast in nice dining area with small outdoor patio. Great coffee shop immediately outside the entrance with pastries etc. Location is a short distance from some great restaurants, bars and clubs. Good shopping area nearby and it’s not too far from the port area where ferries to nearby beaches depart. Will definitely return.

Il personale all'accoglienza è molto cortese. Tuttavia, essendo un albergo molto grande, si rischia di trovare persone parecchio maleducate - come nel mio caso. Non ho dormito granché e ho preso l'aereo tutto stordito (ragazzi che urlavano a tarda notte). La stanza l'ho trovata piuttosto pulita, certamente non impeccabile. Se proprio non doveste trovare altro è comunque un discreto appoggio per il centro città, l'aeroporto e l'autostazione.

Clean but small room with a view of other , close buildings and roofs. The biggest problem is the only one elevator for many floors!One can wait for hours or go on foot downstairs and upstairs , Great workout
