Un luogo incantato , tende spaziose, buon cibo e ottimo servizio . Ci hanno assistito in ogni richiesta davvero lo consiglio. Il campo ha una bella vista sul deserto, il clima ad agosto era buono, secco e sopportabile , il campo si raggiunge in auto ma abbiamo preferito un transfer non ci sono molti cartelli

Based on our experience at Nkhila Lodge, it is hard to believe that there are any bad reviews whatsoever for this business. One thing to keep in mind when staying at a place like Nkhila: you are in the middle of a friggin' desert! In particular, it is at least a 30 minute fairly arduous drive to the next village of any reasonable size. So, the fact that there are 20 or so items on the lunch/dinner menu is incredible in and of itself. So, first, our family of 4 stayed 2 nights at the lodge. The staff greeted us upon arrival, provided and provided some snacks and water in their "reception" tent. They were very accommodating, professional, and polite, during the entire visit. In fact, despite the fact that we were the only family there the second night (apparently, only slightly insane Texans want to be in the desert in July), there were 5-6 staff members on duty most of the time. The tents are comfortable, with a very "modern" bathroom and shower, electricity and Wifi, unbelievably. A word about the meals: yes, they do take a while to be prepared, and we were told this in advance. However, (a) the meals seems to be made essentially from scratch, with several people working in a small, hot kitchen. And (b), please recall that you are in the middle of a desert!! In any case, the free breakfast, and all the other meals were very good. We did two of the offered activities: a one hour camel ride, and the Agafay quad biking. The camel ride is a simple affair, but a fun experience. The quad biking is run by a third party (as far as we can tell), whose base is more or less "down the road." This organization is *very* well run and professional. The manager is friendly and safety oriented, and our young tour guide was awesome! He was very attentive to everyone's needs, and also took a cool long video of us (with our phone) as we rode behind him up and down dunes. This experience is highly recommended! Finally, a word about the area. Apparently there are only 3 lodges/camps on this side of the Agafay desert. The other side apparently has many more, some of which are higher end "spas." One great thing about the relative lack of camps on this side is that you really feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. So, if you want a slightly more authentic and isolated desert experience, this is the one for you.

Part of a 3 destination holiday with Explore Africa in Morocco, its a great experience. The transfer from marrakesh was quick and efficient. The team welcomed us warmly and the luxury tent had everything you could need. We ate out under the stars by the firepit. Every comfort and whim catered for. Fantastic, loved it!

We loved staying at Nkhila Lodge - it was a night to remember. Star gazing, incredible views, and wonderful service. We were very well looked after. The cabins are very well appointed and it was an amazing place to stay.

This is the fourth time we have visited Morocco and we always ask for “Abdou” by name. He is an excellent driver, safely negotiating busy town centres and motorways alike. He always keeps his vehicle in immaculate condition. He has an excellent instinct for what interests us, local markets, historic places and we feel safe and well cared for with Abdou. He chooses local guides personally. He finds places to eat that offer good food and good value. When we arrive at a Riad, he always ensures that we and our luggage are safely conveyed to where we are staying. We are on a 4 centre tour this time which we would not have wanted to undertake without Abdou.

Tout simplement génial ?????? Les h?tes sont d’une extrême gentillesse et toujours aux petits soins. Les lodges sont spacieux et très confortables. La nourriture est très bonne. La petite surprise a été de découvrir une piscine sur place. Balade en chameaux très agréable. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit ne serait-ce pour le dépaysement total.

Un lodge très typique et calme au milieu de nul part. Les tentes sont propres et confortables face à l’immensité du désert. La vue est splendide pour le lever et le coucher du soleil. Nous pouvons profiter à la fois des vallées désertiques ainsi que de la grandeur de l’atlas. Une soirée de rêve pour les couples : terrasse face au couché de soleil, d?ner intime aux chandelles, lit à l’écart du camp sous les étoiles. Il n’y a que 5 tentes, le lieu n’est donc pas dutout touristique ce qui est vraiment très appréciable. Cependant, le comportement d’un des membres du personnel est inadmissible. Samir ne parle qu’a l’homme du couple, même quand je lui posais une question. Pas un regard, pas un bonjour. Il ne manque pas de dire bonjour monsieur, bon appétit monsieur, mais jamais rien pour madame.

Fantastic location and views. Very comfortable lodging. Just recommend packing snacks or other essentials as there are no options available other than the meals provided. That being said we had a great time and would definitely stay there again.
