During my stay at KASBA AFRICA, what struck me the most was the exceptional friendliness and high level of professionalism of Soufiane. His way of communicating with customers has the ability to make the less positive aspects of the experience fade away. And of course, it's important to mention Achraf, always wearing a warm smile.
Kasbah Africa is quite simply magnificent. The location alone is enough for a five star review, the views of the valleys and mountains are simply stunning, and coupled with the comfort and luxury offered by this resort you won't be disappointed with your stay. During the whole of the stay we felt more like family than guests, and both Sofiane and Ashraf provided a welcome and service that was second to none. Caesar the dog was a constant companion, along with all the other resident animals including cats, tortoises and a donkey, who provided company, but were so well behaved as to not annoy. The local walks to the nearby Berber villages provided a unique insight into the local lifestyle and customs, and all of the villagers were so friendly and welcoming. The food on offer was delicious, and as vegetarians there wasn't anything the staff wouldn't do to cater for us, adding inventive options to the menu to make sure we had something different every day. I could write more, but I'd be here all day.
Located on the edge of the mountain with a spring running at the bottom, this hotel is very comfortable, has a beautiful garden, a good restaurant serving local cuisine and a few western dishes. But what makes it a great place is the kindness and helpfulness of the manager and its staff who would do anything to make your stay a pleasant one.
The star of our visit was Sofiane and his team who provided us and our fellow guests with fantastic customer service. The views from the site are tremendous and from the second you walk on to the site there is a feeling of relaxation and calmness. The food in the restaurant was great with a selection of local food, which we found really interesting and tasty. Salal was extremely helpful. Sitting by the pool is relaxing with great views and the gentle sound of the water in the stream, below. Two of our group did the cooking course which they thoroughly enjoyed and the results were excellent as well. I did a two hour guided walk up to to the Berber village of Tikhfist with Mohamed, who was an excellent experienced guide who provided great insight of the local vegetation and assessed my fitness to provide a walk that was ideal and matched to my pace. Ah, the dogs, there are 4 of them and 2 accompanied us on one of our walks up the valley, they we great company. The dogs are well behaved and are welcoming to guests, if guests feel uncomfortable with the dogs, Sofiane and the team will recognise this and ensure that the dogs are kept away, as appropriate. There a couple of downsides, which are outweighed by the positives. As there we four of us, we stayed in the Berber Cottage—it really could use redecorating and brought up to the standard of the rest of the site. As we were staying immediately after Ramadan and alcohol supplies were limited, the only beer available was a craft beer from Spain, with a local label, this was expensive at Dhs 90/can—I am sure a wider and less expensive range is normally available. All in all if you want to stay in a tranquil setting with an abundance of stars, excellent customer service, good food and breathtaking walks through a picturesque valley then I would highly recommend Kasbar Africa
If you are looking for a place with beautiful surroundings, this is the place to go. From the minute you arrive it’s breathtaking. Kasbah Africa and its team are amazing. It feels like home from home. Sofiyan (the manager) and his team can not do enough to make your visit perfect. It was my second visit this year I loved it that much. The food is traditional and very tasty. The place is kept spotless, always cleaning the pool and the rooms are spotless. If you are looking for a peace of heaven this is the place to go. I came in January for 3 nights and couldn’t wait to rebook a longer stay.
Excellente expérience, un total dépaysement en plein milieu des montagnes, chambre très propre et spacieuse. Un lieu authentique qui fond à merveille dans le paysage. Les repas sont aussi au top ( un peu cher ), une cuisine comme à la maison. Possibilité aussi de se faire accompagné par un guide pour des randonnées. Un très grand merci à Soufiane et son équipe pour l’accès chaleureux et leur professionnalisme. à refaire absolument pour recharger mes batteries.
