I have to say that the best thing this place has to offer is its location, in Belém, very close to the Monastery of Jerónimos. Apart from that, I do not recommend it for a stay in beautiful Lisbon. Ver Belém Suites consists of rooms located just above the restaurant of the same name. Upon my arrival, I was attended by the restaurant waiters, who also acted as receptionists. They gave me a code to access the stairs to the rooms, which turned out to be the same code for my own room (on the 1st floor). For the price of the rooms, the quality was well below my expectations. The towels were not clean, and when I wanted to report it, the restaurant had already closed and there was nobody I could talk to. During my two-night stay, there was no room cleaning and the towels were not replaced. Furthermore, it seems that all guests are given the same code for their rooms, since a guest from another room mistakenly entered mine in the middle of the night by using their code. This gave me a strong sense of insecurity.
Excellent location. Many great eating spots close by and very close to the monastery. Easy to get but don’t bother lining up for 15 tram it’s much better to take the train -just 3 short stops from the metro. Mattress was very firm which is okay if you like that.
Ver Belem Suites was extremely clean and safe. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even carrying our suitcases upstairs (there’s no elevator) and running outside after us when we left a computer power supply in the room when we checked out.
The room was small, as are many in Europe, but laid out efficiently enough that two people could easily function.
Multiple eating options and shops right outside your door. And many of the main tourist sites of Belem in easy walking distance.
O atendimento foi excelente, precisei chegar após o horário de checkin e recebi todo suporte que precisava para acessar o quarto.
A comodidade da suite é muito boa.
Sobre pontos negativos eu gostaria de evidenciar duas coisas: a primeira é que o quarto fica encima de um restaurante e o quarto ficava com um pouco de cheiro de comida. O segundo é que a cama n?o possuía len?óis sobressalentes, apenas uma capa para o edred?o que tinha sinais de sujeira.
There wasn’t much communication with staff, I was unclear who to report to. Also, there was limited dining in the area, I am vegan so it is hard, another restaurant said ‘try McDonald’s’ which I found a little rude, in a tourist area they should be aware of accommodating restaurants in the area.
