Fantastic staff, wonderful extras, great location, would love to have just stayed right there for a very, very long time.

Staff at hotel Armando were courteous. They even arranged a taxi for us to get back to the station.

Check in at the seperate hotel was unusual but they were friendly and showed me to the room. Good staff at the Armando. Very friendly.
Inside Verona design they were doing work on the building that the rooms reside in. Never seen something so dangerous. Carpet and plastic wrap all over the stairs, paint everywhere. Trip hazard trying to get to the room. Shocking the state the building the rooms were in.
However, once inside the room it was very nice and tasteful. Once the work has been completed outside in the outer building, this would score much higher from me.

O café da manh? é incrível mas n?o está incluso. Faz parte do hotel Armando onde fazemos o checo-in e check-out. Tudo foi muito bom, mas o Wi-Fi simplesmente n?o funcionou ou funcionou muito mal, oq acarretou em alguns problemas, principalmente para trabalhar.

I was not made aware during online booking that Verona Heights was about 1.5 blocks from main office in Hotel Armando. My room was on the second floor, no elevators to get up/down two long flights of stairs which was difficult for luggage. No staff available to assist me to bring luggage up and down stairs. My room had no phone to contact main office. Checkout had to be done in Hotel Armando in person to turn in room card. Taxis not allowed in Verona Heighte which meant wheeling/carrying luggage between the two properties. When I booked my hotels through ******* I specified ground floor room if there is no elevator if assigned to room upstairs.
Staff recommended Michelin star restaurant right next to Verona Design but food was expensive and not good. Nearest restaurants were about 15-30 minutes away by foot.

The hotel is clean. The front desk staff is friendly and polite. Transportation is convenient, making it easy to get around. However, the fact that the front desk and room rates are separate is inconvenient.

Ithaca Design is an annex to a hotel: Best Western Hotel Armando, Via Dietro Pallone, 1, 37121 Verona VR, Italy. It's presumably cheaper than the hotel itself. It consists of a few rooms in an apartment building. It is a short distance away from the hotel itself, just a few minutes' walk. You check in at the hotel and the clerk gives you a key card which opens the front door to the building, the door to the rooms (1 flight of stairs up), and your own room. The desk clerk came with me to show me how it works, and even helped me carry my heavy suitcase up the stairs. They don't come in every day to make the bed; you do that yourself after the first day. Some people would want bed-making and fresh towels every day, but I didn't mind. The location is very convenient: a short walk to the historic center of Verona and to many of the university buildings.

Perfect for our family of 4 for a single night stay after the Opera in Verona. Fabulous value for money. Excellent check in assistance at the Best Western reception. Another pillow and blinds in the bedroom would have been amazing but otherwise fantastic.

Check in with Jenny was quick and efficient, she was kind and help. That night we had a problem with our ac and at 2 am they were able to come and fix it right away. Overall great stay and yummy breakfast option in the morning.
