Didn't spend a lot of time there as arrived late and left around 10am but everything was impeccable, lovely clean room and good breakfast, plus good service on check in and breakfast

If you don't mind hearing someone weeing from the next guest room, then this hotel is fine.
To be honest. We were disappointed from stepping into the property. We were greeted by a young girl who asked me to make payment for our pre-paid stay. I checked my emails and confirmed I had indeed already paid through *******.
She proceeded to ask me to make payment for breakfast, again, this was advertised as included as a "free breakfast". She then tried to tell us that only cereals are included, but miraculously after I resisted to pay due to it being advertised as included, she checked with a colleague and came back to say "they're being pretty chill today so I'll put you down for 8am".
Very odd behavior!
After that, she once again asked if I'd be happy to make payment for the room, to which I explained that I'd already paid. She said "okay well I guess you aren't going anywhere".
Fast forward to 11pm, tucked in bed and we heard our neighbours come back to their room, through the very thin walls, and heard someone weeing in the toilet! Mental!
We had an awful night sleep.

We had the family room 8. Nice room. Beds were very comfy and it was really quiet. Everything clean and well maintained. We had booked bed and breakfast but were told that breakfast now has to be paid for in addition and they wouldn’t honour the booking. Very disappointing. The only other negative was that in the morning there was no heating on and it was freezing. Made having a shower painful!

The breakfast were excellent, don’t know about the pet area as I don’t have any, this is an excellent hotel with friendly and attentive staff.

They hotel was good. Staff were excellent. Food was good, but limited room was nice with a good bed. The bathroom was very out of date. You couldn't use the shower.
Needs updating and modernising possibly bath, ripping out and a big shower unit. Putting in very quiet at night.

Amazing!
Breakfast on the whole was exceptional but maybe the scrambled eggs needed some work, aside from that no complaints and the speed of service was excellent. Awesome location with views outside the property and staff are very outstanding. Hotel is currently being updated which is being done without minimal disruption to the guests. Highly recommended. Just make sure non transport guests please be aware of the local bus service because they are very limited (this has nothing to do with the property).

Very clean room and comfortable beds. Good breakfast and loads of free parking. Very good location.

A lovely hotel, across from river moorings, and in a peaceful setting. The Staff were very helpful, even carrying my case up the quirky staircase.The room was clean, with good decor, and facilities. The en-suite had a bath and shower, which was a bonus. The only downside was limited plug sockets, but it was a minor issue.
The hotel itself is welcoming, with some low doorways and corridors, adding to the original features. And despite a mix of old/new decor as they continue to make improvements, it had a very relaxed atmosphere.
Breakfast was lovely, well-cooked with lots of flavour (great bacon and sausage!) We didn't use the bar, outdoor seating or garden, but the Kids Play area looked fun!

This is the second time we have stayed here. The owner is slowly working on a full refurbishment.
There is something quite rustic to the place. It’s no Hilton, but serves the purpose for tired travellers.
Good look with the refurb. Love the concept of the Bee room!
