Everything was lovely. Comfortable bed . Lovely view over one of the Lakes . Peaceful and quiet. Hosts were very helpful and welcoming. Will definitely return.

Massive room, very clean very tidy with beautiful view on trees field and lake big clean shower room. Honestly lovely place to relax for your brain to live within the nature. Since when I stepped out of the car, I never had any negative emotion. At check-in they said welcome to me! Because I’m leaving before breakfast time they will leave milk in the fridge for Continental breakfast, especially for me. I live in the hotels four nights a week it’s never been like that before.. really lovely very welcoming place Definitely recommend

An excellent place to stay lakeside accomodation very clean and comfortable...especially the bed..so much choice for breakfast and the owners were so nice We hope to visit again soon

Absolutely beautiful surroundings Great hosts and beautiful food. You could not wish for a better relaxing holiday or break away The en-suite chalet style accommodation is cosy and comfortable. We will be returning soon. We can’t wait.

Bartles Lodge is a gem of a hotel. It’s situated in a very peaceful and serene village, making it the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of day to day life.
The rooms are spacious, comfortable and cosy, offering all the amenities you’d expect and more. While subjective, I found the bed to be one of the most comfortable I’ve had in recent memory.
When it comes to breakfast, the spread on offer is fantastic: cereals, toast, pastries, chocolates, fruits and a selection of cooked offerings.
The wonderful owners go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and looked after; they couldn’t have done more to make us feel at home.
After living out of business hotels for the past two years, Bartles Lodge was a welcome breath of fresh air.
If I find myself needing lodging in the area again, I’ll be looking to book here.
