Beautiful pub / hotel, full of charm and character. The meals are good, but tend to be over fussy and elaborated, but don't add to the quality of the meal. Breakfast was actually nicer than the dinner!
Ideal for a one night stay and only 25 minutes to Heathrow.

Staff were friendly. Room needed some maintenance, shower dripped. Heating not great. Breakfast at 8 was slightly late for working breakfast, so went without. Overall lovely place though and would stay again

We had a bad experience here caused by other guests: at one in the morning, a group of men were standing outside singing and swearing for ages. It woke me up and I couldn’t sleep afterwards. I phoned the desk and left a message on the answerphone but have not had a response. I told the breakfast waiter in the morning and he said he knew who they were, since they had behaved like that the night before as well and were outside when he left at 11.45. He says he had emailed their company and said it was totally unacceptable behaviour as all the other guests had complained. Would I stay here again- doubtful, as we do like to sleep when we go to a hotel!
What a pity. The room was very clean and the young staff were most helpful.

Property was great! Very English and quaint. Rooms were too dark. Could use more lighting.
